I want to admit that living with my parents-in-law is a true blessing for me. #MissElina always has Dadoo and Daddy to play with. My MIL takes care of and manages all housework, so I can focus on my career and growth. We celebrate all festivals together. We truly care about each other. Many people would say, that it is because I’m a foreigner and in India in law does treat DIL differently. But common guys, toxic people do not have nationality. Of course, I will speak about #Jugaad 😅 When I visited #India for the first time, I had tons of questions and whys about how things were done. Later, I figured out that #Russia and #India are very similar and have a special word to describe “shortcuts”—Jugaad ( or 🇷🇺 “smekalka”). But I wantcfo clarify that there are two pure types of #Jugaad—one is pure growth hacking and my thoughts about rapid economic growth. For example, fintech evolution—the way it switched to UPI payments and skipped other development sites like mobile banking, payment kiosks, etc. Or I admire so many marketing folks that I know in the industry- so talented and thinking out of the box. People to observe and learn from. It is a true power of India is: 🧠Talent + Deep thoughts + High competition = extraordinary and effective solutions 🚀 The second type of #Jugaad is a bit silly. I called it the act of underestimating another person’s intelligence. Covering up excuses or finding some short-term profits by doing something or another. Here’s my list of absolutely normal things for yours #russianindian 1. Live together with the parents-in-law. It is a blessing ( for me at least, as I do not manage things in the house at all) ❤️ 2. Eat with hands. Very, very often it is tastier to eat with your hands! ( btw it is a scientific fact as well) 🍛 3. Be a bit late. Lol. I’m super ok with people being late by 15-20 minutes. But I keep my meeting gaps and plan accordingly ⏰ 4. Have a lot of domestic house helpers, for everything. Initially, it was strange for me, but you know… it is human nature to look for convenience and honestly being lazy a bit 😅 5. Speak a few languages at the same time. I can catch the meaning in Hinglish. So far! But I commit would learn Hindi in 1-2 years max. 🚀 6. Negotiate. For everything. Almost always. I actually learnt a lot about business, negotiation, and effective communication in India 🇮🇳 It is a superpower. 7. Have chai = mix tea with the milk and spices. I was born on the border with Mongolia! Guys, you have to try Mongolian hardcore masala chai 😅 8. Dedicate life to love. Everything is about love in India. Every movie, every problem statement is somehow connected to love. India is a very emotional country and you know until it doesn’t go to drama thing, I find it fantastic! We have one life to live. Well, let me confess here first that there is zero makeup or filters on this video 🤣 🤸‍♀️ My position is simple: I rarely count money when it comes to tiny, unimportant amounts like the cost of small auto trips, daily help, servers' tips, etc. Because of three reasons: 1. My focus is on gaining wealth and scale. My result is where my focus. 2. I consider this tiny amounts can bring good luck to people who might need it now. 3. And believe that what comes around, goes around. 😅 So Rs 300 for the 1.2 km trip- no problem, Heavy tips in restaurant - no problem, A small hike in salary for our daily helpers- no problem. People call us “attention seekers” when we praise #India, or wear authentic clothes, or any foreigners trying to dance. But, guys, there are a few points to keep in mind: 1. I’m not ashamed to admit: 1. India is my home. It is not the country where I immigrated/shifted. 🇮🇳🫶 India is much more for me. It is my home.
