Every race has its story… and this one tested me at every turn 💥.

🌊 The morning began with the lake swim. The water was choppy, restless, and unforgiving — each stroke demanded focus 🧘‍♀️, calmness 🫁, and courage 💪🔥. Coming out of the water felt like winning my first battle 🏆.

🚴‍♀️ Then came the bike course — a true test of rhythm 🎶 and strength ⚡. Rolling roads ⛰️, climbs 🔥, fast descents 💨… every push on the pedals reminded me why I love this sport ❤️.

🏃‍♀️ And finally, the run. On tired legs 🦵💦, the rolling terrain kept asking: “How much heart do you have left? ❤️ Can you dig deeper?” Every step became a fight — and the answer was always YES 🙌🔥.

What made this race unforgettable wasn’t just the challenge. It was the atmosphere 🎉 — beautifully organized, community-driven 🤝, neighbourhood-friendly 🏘️. Every volunteer 🙏, every cheer 📣, every fellow athlete 🤗 lifted me higher and carried me forward.

🏁 Crossing that finish line wasn’t about numbers or distance — it was about embracing the unknown 🌟, finding strength in discomfort 💪🔥, and celebrating the unstoppable spirit of triathlon 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️✨.

This Sunday morning, I laced up my shoes and embraced the challenge of running 25km at the TSK World 25 event in Kolkata. Long-distance running isn’t just about physical strength—it’s a mental game. It’s not about thinking, “I can’t do this,” but asking yourself, “How can I?”

“FROM PANIC ATTACKS TO 90KM MILESTONES! 🚴‍♀️ 

My journey from struggling to ride a road bike to conquering 90km is nothing short of a miracle. ironman70.3goa 

Started with indoor training on a rented road bike (wisecyclist ) thanks to Coach anirudhrav74 (ariseperformance.in ).

Took my first outdoor ride with team_chai_ power_peaks_ , but panic attacks almost derailed me.

Then came my trusty companion, Merida800 (staytunedbikes) they were awesome.

But two major hurdles remained: downhill riding ⛰️and on-bike hydration 🚴‍♀️ 

Enter Coach ranajit_triathlete , who held my hand through 50-70k rides and taught me to drink on the go.

Drills, camps, and unwavering support from Coach Ani (anirudhrav74 )helped me crush my fears.

Oh, and did I mention my fall? That’s a story for another day.

Six months of grit, sweat, and tears led to this triumph.

To anyone struggling, know that YOU CAN OVERCOME.

FROM 25m to 2km : My  IRONMAN 70.3 SWIM Journey

“I still pinch myself thinking about how far I’ve come! From struggling to swim 25m to confidently covering 3km, my swim journey has been nothing short of transformative.

It all began at our local Anderson Club, where town tri hero bratin_dutta helped me correct my technique. But I knew I needed more guidance.

That’s when I met team_chai_  from power_peaks_ , who took my swimming to the next level through two intensive camps - one in lakes and one in the ocean. And that’s where I met the incredible coachjawdekar , who treated me like a child (in the best way possible!), guiding me with patience and expertise.

Feeling more secure in my swimming, I returned to Kolkata, only to face the biggest challenge: no access to swimming pools during winter. Determined, I traveled 25km daily (50km round-trip!) to swim in a heated pool on the other side of the city.

But despite the progress, I still lacked confidence in crossing the 1km mark. That’s when I met the Raw coach indrajeet_khadilkar from Goa, who within 4 days made me cross the 1km mark in deep sea. As if he has a magic wand when it comes to open water sea swim!

Back in Kolkata, we formed a Kolkata Tri Group for Open Water Swimming (OWS) sessions in the city’s lakes. Training with like-minded enthusiasts boosted my confidence and prepared me for the Ironman 70.3 swim leg.

To tackle the actual grind, I needed a systematic plan for Race Day preparation. That’s when my triathlon coach anirudhrav74 from ariseperformance.in came into the picture.

With anirudhrav74 guidance, I started structured swim practices in the pool, focusing on technique and speed. He made sure the 2k distance looked easy, and crossing that 3km mark became achievable.

Lessons learned:
Don’t underestimate guidance
Consistency and perseverance are key
Mental toughness conquers physical limits
Structured planning makes all the difference
