![17 year Anniversary Babymoon 🥺
Every year we normally travel abroad to celebrate our anniversary but this year we’re realising it doesn’t have to be big, adventurous or extravagant. What really matters is slowing down and soaking up the little moments together. We spent the whole three-hour drive just talking, laughing, and appreciating each other, and the time flew by.
Seventeen years in, and it still amazes me how we never run out of things to say. And having Rolo with us made it even more special, our last little getaway as a family of three before everything changes. 😭❤️

![Seventeen years of us. 🤍
This anniversary feels different. For 17 years it’s been just us, and now we’re preparing to become parents. It’s scary and exciting all at once, but if these years have taught me anything, it’s that there’s no one else I’d rather do the hard and beautiful parts of life with.
Seventeen years later, I’m still learning, unlearning and still falling in love with new versions of us. And when I look back, I realise it’s really been made of thousands of little moments, the laughter, the late-night talks, the challenges we worked through, the dreams we chased together.
This year feels even more special because it’s not just about us anymore. We’ve created a baby out of so much love, and soon we’ll step into the next chapter as parents. I know it won’t always be easy, but I also know it will be worth it. If the last 17 years have taught me anything, it’s that we can handle anything, as long as we do it together.

When I first began my journey as a beauty content creator, I had no roadmap, no one around me who understood the pressure, confusion and fear of trying to create a different future. I was a girl from a first generation immigrant household, working 3 jobs, living in a tiny council house but dreaming of something bigger.

But when I was choosing photos to print for this scrapbook, I realised the memories I wanted to keep weren’t the picture-perfect ones. They were the everyday moments.
