“I’m eating healthy but not losing weight!” 🤔🍽️

If this sounds like you, you might be missing these key factors:

🔸 Mindless nibbles—those few peanuts, popcorn, or cashews add up and a few of these can throw you into caloric SURPLUS making you GAIN instead of LOSE
🔸 Overlooking oil consumption—check how much you put in your food. It should be approximately 15-20ml per person daily OR 500ml per person in a month. If you eat out frequently, it should be lower.
🔸 Weekday discipline, weekend binge—Binging alcohol and outside food as if there is no tomorrow can stall progress.
🔸 Eating “healthy” but not what suits your body—excess raw veggies, milk, store bought paneer leads to bloating and allergies. Basically Your gut cant take it.
🔸 Exercising for an hour but sedentary the rest of the day? NEAT is your answer. Remember Movement counts!
🔸 Low fiber intake—your gut needs it. Poor Gut health= digestion is sluggish, so is your fat loss. Fixing a leaky gut takes work and needs patience.

The purpose about this to be AWARE of the root cause. It not to scare you. Identify what triggers you and fix your relationship with food. Weight loss isn’t about “fearing foods and eating less.” It’s about eating right! Are you paying attention to these? Let me know in the comments! ✨ #WeightLossTips #HealthyLiving 2025-04-02 21:38:09 .. 7 -75% 2 -11%
3 Pilates Marketing Trends That Need to Go ⬇️

1️⃣ The “Long, Lean, Sculpted” Promise – Pilates is so much more than just aesthetics. It’s about alignment, posture, strength, and moving better in everyday life. A “cinched waist” is a possible by-product, not the purpose. Let’s shift the focus to what truly matters!

2️⃣ Skipping the Basics – fancy, advanced moves might look great on social media, but what about beginners? Pilates should be accessible to all. The foundation matters more than the fancy movements!

3️⃣ Reformer Overhype – Mat Pilates deserves just as much credit! It’s affordable, effective, and can be done anywhere. You don’t need a Reformer to get the benefits of Pilates.

Let’s bring Pilates back to what it’s truly about—better movement, strength, and longevity. Agree? Drop a 💯 in the comments! ⬇️ #PilatesForAll #MoveBetterFeelBetter 2025-03-31 09:00:00 .. 26 -6% 2 -11%

February was all about yoga and I’m so grateful for it! 20 yoga sessions this month—am I more calm and centered? Not sure 🤷🏻‍♀️
But I’m definitely VERY happy! Oh, and I also got in 8 strength training sessions 💪
Overall, it’s been an amazing month for movement. Feeling strong, blessed, and sooo happy! ✨

Watching all the girlies out there trading in their metabolism for a quick weight loss while I happily sip my chai and stay a few kilos ‘overweight’—aka well-fed, strong, and still able to keep up with my toddler. Strength training, yoga, Pilates, walking, and gasp eating real food? Guess I’ll take the ‘long road’ to aging gracefully. Hope those Ozempic side effects are worth it in a few years!

PS: Sad to see how the Ozempic consumption is now so normal and is not just reserved for influential celebrities.

It was a tough day today but my yoga teacher kriskuku is leaving for Dubai in a few days. I didn’t feel like missing the last few classes she is teaching here in Hyderabad.
It’s interesting to see how different people and situations in your life provide you the required inspiration, motivation and push, to work on yourself on the days you’re feeling low. All you need is a perspective to look at it the right way 💕🧘‍♀️

Food is more than just calories – it’s about festivals, family, and creating memories. 🍽️ Staying disciplined is key, but it’s all about balance. Here’s how to enjoy eating out without guilt:
1. Stick to healthy meals at home 80-85% of the time.
2. Research restaurant menus so you know what to expect.
3. Share high-calorie dishes to enjoy without overindulging.
4. Go for herbal teas or lime soda instead of sugary drinks.
5. Never go out hungry – eat something light before heading out.
6. Talk to your loved ones about why staying on track matters.
And remember – one meal won’t throw you off course. Like I always say, 1 salad doesn’t make you lean and 1 high calorie meal outside won’t ruin your progress. It’s all about balance! 🙌

A lot of times people confuse consistency with a rigid schedule. Consistency doesn’t mean eating healthy daily, working out daily, doing your steps daily and so on.
Consistency is more about enjoying the process and sustaining it long term. Its about incorporating what you love into your schedule- be it a swim session, a restorative yoga session or just catching up with a friend mid-week for some pizza.
Throwing in these little treats here n there makes the process a lot more satisfying and easy on the mind.
As a coach, the only target I really insist on achieving (or at least try to achieve) every single day is sleep! People really underestimate the power of a well rested body. A good 7-8 hours is what I push my clients towards and yes, I emphasise on this more than exercise.
After all whats the point of having a great physique but roaming around like zombie with a not so calm mind? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I extended my maternity leave to enjoy and relax with my family. After all, having a little baby was such a big change. But things didn’t go as planned. I fell sick (thank you Chikungunya 😐 been 2 months, haven’t recovered yet), lost a loved one, all this followed by my daughter falling sick which I guess was due to excessive travelling! There is sooo much more which I’ll skip for now. Until last week I felt everything happening around me was just negative news!
But I guess that was the message that life was trying to send. To slow down, to enjoy the little moments and be grateful for the support system around me.
So here I am, planning my next 3 months. It involves ONLY quality work, working on my things in my control, less intense exercises, more yoga🧘‍♀️ and waking up each day feeling grateful for having a beautiful little family. Most people confuse “engaging the core” with sucking in the tummy. This is wrong on so many levels and let me tell you why. Sucking in your belly, Activates the upper abs and doesn’t allow your deep abdominal muscles to work enough. It in turn causes a lot of pressure on your pelvic floor. It also comes in the way of diaphragm breathing because it leads to unintentional stiffening of the neck and shoulder muscles; basically doesn’t provide enough space for the diaphragm to MOVE!

I see a lot of coaches cue their clients - “tuck your belly button”. Do not confuse this with “sucking in your tummy”. Tucking your belly button is a way of correcting your POSTURE to ensure your back is properly positioned on the mat which helps to find that core connect. It is very different from sucking in your belly and blocking your breath

If you wish to work with me and understand this more kindly DM. 2 personal training slots available mid-may onwards

Here are the top 3 reasons your daily workouts are not giving you results

1. Workouts are not structured. Working out 3-4 days in a week; a well balanced program is much more effective than performing random daily workouts

2. You are not gradually increasing the intensity and by that I dont mean do HIIT! It could just be adding more weight, increasing the reps or simply moving from beginner to intermediate level movements.

3. Your nutrition is not on point. You may be eating healthy but your eating patterns might not be supporting your goals. You could be eating much more than your deficit numbers or even not eating enough to sustain and push through your workouts

Also, do remember that you do NOT need to workout everyday to see the desired results. Invest in a good coach who can guide you through a plan to support your goals. A well structured 3 or even a 2 day split every week can help you inch towards your goal.

Postpartum life got me thinking about my nutrition and recovery game.💪

I came across some studies indicating that babies might not be too keen on whey protein, and I’ve heard the same from a bunch of my mom friends.🤱

With my little one just hitting the 4-month mark, I decided to make the switch to plant protein with cosmixwellness – the brand everyone’s been raving about on social media. Let me tell you, the hype is real! ✨

Their protein is all about natural ingredients, clean plant goodness (and no soy!), plus no funky aftertaste that hangs around.😋

This is my second packet of their cult favorite, Chikmagalur Mocha, and I’m totally hooked. Can’t get enough! 😍

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Sugar doesn’t make you gain weight! Excess calories does.✅

But let’s not confuse health with weight gain. Is sugar good for your health? No! So it’s best to restrict it to 2-3 teaspoons a day, typically in your tea, coffee, or everyone’s favorite summer drink, ‘nimbu paani.’🍸

However, an occasional pastry or cake won’t cause any harm.😋👍

Opt for bigger, fuller meals - ones that are balanced with lots of vegetables, good amounts of protein, and complex carbs. Drink 3-4 liters of water a day. You’ll notice that your sugar cravings, or the so-called “sugar addiction,” automatically decrease👎

Mixed feelings here, because I’ve known workouts and movements, I know how this works. But walking in after 1.5 years felt a little intimidating, because I am going in after so many life changes! 😇

Felt like a complete newbie though, but it feels like a new routine that I can adapt into. Here’s to more movement, and pushing myself out of my comfort zone!✨🙌

Is there something new that you’re trying to learn, or a new movement that you’re nervous yet excited to try out?❓

Post partum life off late

➖Accepting the fact that there is no routine is more difficult than not having a routine!
➖Hormones are all over the place and so is my hair (Hello Hashimotos, hello hairfall 👋) and so are my emotions.
➖Had a lot more control on my nutrition pre baby. Now, its super difficult to plan my meals, let alone preparing and following it
➖Exercise was very difficult earlier but I now find it super easy to keep that 1.5 hours aside every day for myself; movement helps. Thanks fit.with.coach.m for providing those kick ass plans 💪
➖ Mom and baby bonding ≠ what they show in movies. Its very different; cannot be described in words🧿
➖ Going back to work is hard. You want to create your own identity, give your 💯 percent at work but also not miss out on anything that your baby does.

Life can be overwhelming ‘n wholesome at the same time. Thats what creates memories for a lifetime! ✨💖 2024-04-21 13:39:10 .. 49 +76% 1 -55%
