The last five years have changed me in ways I could never have imagined. Grief has a way of reshaping everything—and when I lost my parents, I lost more than them. I lost the will to keep creating. The silence that followed was heavy, but necessary. I stepped away, not because I stopped caring, but because I needed to remember why I ever did.
So I went searching—not for the old me, but for the version of myself I hadn’t met yet. In that stillness, I started to feel something stir again. I walked back into rooms with the people I trust most—friends, musicians, soul family—and I laid it all bare. My heart, my story, my truth. I told them: This is where I am. Let’s make it sing.
