FAQ – Vince The Kitchen Guy Instagram Stats
Common questions about Vince The Kitchen Guy’s Instagram analytics.
- The infamous White Oak finish. I get asked for this ALL THE TIME. It’s a tough finish. We are always tweaking and fine tuning with different products. White oak varies a lot in tone and it keeps us always messing with it. So, I don’t have a one and done solution. We use a combo of products in the finishing shop and that takes years of experience and trial and error to make work. It isn’t something I can easily share. However, there is a product anyone can get that is great for doors, mantles, shelves etc. minwaxusa Polycrylic Crystal Clear Top coat in matte finish can get you to that covered “raw” looking white oak finish. Give it a try and let me know what you think👍🏻
- Stop being so scared of using natural stone! If you want it, you should have it. Engineered stone can’t touch the beauty of real stone. I’ve had clients ruin engineered quartz. So, I say go for what Mother Nature gave us! I usually go for a honed or leathered finish which hides more of the etching. If you are really scared you could use a protective film like tuffskin_surfaceprotection (not sponsored).
