Who likes Valencia?Seems like everyone likes Valencia! 🤷🏽‍♂️

When I posted stories about Valencia everyone suddenly got excited! 👍🏼😁

Cool to see that so many people had traveled to Valencia before and I got so many travel tips in my inbox.

I walked half a marathon through the city and sincerely had a good time exploring the city! It was my first time in Valencia, definitely not my last time. 👍🏼😁❤️🇪🇸

Pamplona, famous or infamous for bullfighting! You decide…

Running with the bulls during the San Fermin Festival has put Pamplona worldwide on the map. Everyone knows it, everyone has its opinion about it!

Should it be considered a tradition worth celebrating… or a practice the world has outgrown? 🤔

Visiting the bull fighting stadium was personally worth it as you get to learn much more about the whole tradition. A self guided tour is €8 and I learned a lot.

But walking through Pamplona myself, I discovered a very different side of the city, away from bull fights: laid-back vibes, a charming old town, and surprisingly not overrun by tourists. A beautiful place to visit that deserves to be known for so much more than bullfighting.

What do you think? Should Pamplona’s identity still be tied to bullfighting, or is it time we shift the focus to everything else this city has to offer? #pamplona #spain #navarra 2025-09-05 17:36:24 Pamplona, famo.. 966 +108% 43 +195%
Curious about this hyena encounter then read the full caption of my recent reel about the hyena feeding in Harar, Ethiopia!

Meeting the extraordinary 'street dogs' of Harar is an incredible experience! 🙌🏽

Of course Harar is more than just the hyena feeding, its old town called Jugol is a living museum and a UNESCO World Heritage Site on its own.

You can also find a reel on my profile of my accommodation. I slept in a museum!

I explored the old town of Harar with Edom on my side, an amazing guide. Totally recommended!

Visiting Harar was one of my many highlights on my trip to Ethiopia! ❤️🇪🇹 #ethiopia #harar #hyena #traveltheworld 2025-09-02 19:05:51 Curious a.. 2,956 +536% 52 +257%
No one told you this about Harar, the city of Peace in Ethiopia! It doesn't feel like Ethiopia: a different place, a different vibe, different people… but INCREDIBLE! 😍

Few places in the world carry as many titles as Harar. This walled city in eastern Ethiopia is both a UNESCO World Heritage Site and often described as the “City of Peace” as well as a “Living Museum.” But why?

✨ City of Peace
Harar is home to 82 mosques and more than 100 shrines, making it the fourth holiest city of Islam. Yet what truly sets Harar apart is its centuries of peaceful coexistence between Muslims, Christians, and traders from Africa, Arabia, and India. UNESCO celebrates Harar as a model of religious harmony and tolerance, where diversity has been embraced for generations.

✨ Living Museum
Step inside the ancient walls of Harar Jugol and you walk into history. Life here looks much like it did centuries ago. The narrow alleyways, traditional Harari houses with colorful basket-decorated interiors, lively markets, and spiritual shrines all keep the past alive.

Traditions like the famous hyena feeding ritual, the daily coffee ceremonies (Harar is said to be the birthplace of Ethiopian coffee culture), and a thriving oral poetry scene make Harar a living cultural treasure, not just preserved, but still lived every day.

Harar is more than just a destination. It’s a city where history, faith, and culture blend into daily life, showing the world that peace and tradition can stand the test of time.

Harar is my favorite place in Ethiopia, but I must add there are still a lot of places to visit in Ethiopia that I haven't seen yet! ❤️🇪🇹 #ethiopia #traveling #harar 2025-08-30 22:25:10 .. 2,794 +501% 75 +415%
DANGEROUS!!! 🚨‼️ You are warned! Avoid Calle Nuevo in San Sebastian in rough weather conditions! 😱

I got completely soaked. Eventually had no other choice then to go to a store and buy new clothes.

i’m not sure anymore if traveling to San Sebastian is safe! 😉

Must do when traveling to Bilbao! The Vizcaya Bridge or Bizkaia Bridge is a unique experience and it is almost free.

One of the best places to see in Bilbao and already over 130 years old. The Vizcaya Bridge was the first mechanical transporter bridge in the world!

You can take your car across on it, or walk across the top for an excessive fee of €10 EUR! 😱

That said it is an impressive UNESCO World Heritage site, and a unique experience for visitors to Bilbao, but paying €10 EUR to take the elevator to the top is a little over the top Bilbao!

The Vizcaya Bridge is a 20 min metro ride outside the city. Take the metro down to Portugalete and wander down the beautiful narrow streets of this neighborhood towards the river. ❤️🇪🇸 #bilbao #traveltips 2025-08-30 03:24:01 Must do .. 8 -98% 0 -100%
My first time in this ‘country’! Excited to explore new places and regions! 😁

Although I arrived back in Europe, they stamped my passport! Weird… 🤔

I have been to Spain many times, but never in the Basque Country up North.

And although I speak Spanish, Basque language is a whole other ball game.

At the airport, there was no Uber available, so I took a bus that brought me to the beautiful main square in the city center.

My $220 USD per night hotel was just a short walk away, so I did some sightseeing along the way.

I visited a Catholic church and grabbed a sandwich, which was quite expensive I think. Had the idea Spain was cheaper.

I finally found my hotel, which looked nice and classy. The Radisson Collection in Bilbao has huge and spacious rooms. However, I was a bit surprised that they don’t have any bottled drinking water in the room.

But overall, I’m very happy with the Radisson Collection hotel in the city center of Bilbao! 😍 #bilbao #basquecountry #spain 2025-08-29 16:35:28 My fir.. 13 -97% 1 -93%
My first time in the Basque Country so I had to visit a La Liga game of Athletic Club de Bilbao! ⚽️❤️

I bought a ticket for €100 at the stadium about eight hours before the La Liga football game.

Tickets for tourists are not cheap because you can choose between a €80 ticket and a €100 ticket there are no cheaper ones available.

Visiting a football game of Arhletic de Bilbao in the fantastic San Mames stadium is one of the best things to do when you visit Bilbao in Spain .

I must say the quality of the game was absolutely terrible and I expected way better football, especially from the home side. Rayo Vallecano wasn’t doing so bad, Athletic Club can be lucky they got rewarded a controversial penalty.

But I was not complaining because I wanted the home team to win of course, I wanted to taste the atmosphere of the San Mames Stadium.

When visiting a game of Athletic de Bilbao, you must come to the stadium early. I recommend to go to the stadium about two hours in advance because it’s well worth tasting the atmosphere outside and around San Mames.

If you are into having a drink, then do not go into the stadium early because inside the stadium they do not sell any drinks. That is also why everyone only comes 10 minutes before the game and the outside ambience is just as fantastic as inside the stadium.

all in all, I have an amazing experience. Athletic Club is part of the Basque Country and well worth a visit! Love football ❤️⚽️ #football #bilbao #laliga #stadium 2025-08-29 15:08:13 .. 898 +93% 35 +140%
Find out how much sushi in a fancy restaurant in Ethiopia cost... 💸💸💸

I found this fancy sushi restaurant in Ethiopia by chance! Just googled for nearby restaurants with good reviews and this restaurant came up!

Remember that Ethiopia is a landlocked country in Africa. So maybe not the first country to try sushi!

But I tried a variety of dishes like tuna tartare, beef gyoza, and a crazy tuna roll.

I feel like the prices are a bit high for Ethiopians but very reasonable for Western tourists.

I had a great sushi dinner experience in Addis Ababa overlooking the Friendship Park and its beautiful scenery and damn this sushi restaurant in Ethiopia exceeded all expectations! Yummmmy... #restaurant #addisababa #ethiopia 2025-08-29 04:11:10 Find out how muc.. 6 -99% 0 -100%

Surprisingly I found in the dirty streets of Mercato market a beautiful, hip and modern coffee shop.

HUGE waterfall doesn’t even have a name as it is just another waterfall in the Ethiopian countryside!

If this waterfall would be in Europe there would be a viewing platform and a restaurant and probably an entrance fee. 😂

Wow incredible place and definitely a hidden gem in the countryside of Oromiya province.

The waterfall is nearby Melka Kunture and I viewed it from the Awash River Bridge. ❤️🇪🇹 #ethiopia #oromiya #traveling 2025-08-29 03:43:36 HUGE water.. 9 -98% 0 -100%
Far away in the countryside trying local traditional food!

Me and my friend went on a tour to the UNESCO world heritage side of Tiya and I asked for lunch in a local restaurant that would serve local food.

I got what i wanted, real local place where I tried the traditional Ethiopian dishes of shiro (a lentil stew) and beyena (a vegetable dish).

I learned how to properly eat Ethiopian food with injera bread using my hands. Great experience, good food, good people! Loving my Ethiopia travel adventures #ethiopia #food 2025-08-29 03:27:54 Far away in the countrysi.. 8 -98% 0 -100%

Where is everyone? Ethiopians dont work out? 🤷🏽‍♂️

I visited a local gym in Adama and had a great workout experience. The gym was local and old school but I loved it!

No fancy machines, but this setting is somehow really motivating to me.

It was not very crowded, which allowed me to have an enjoyable gym session.

I appreciated the unique atmosphere and the opportunity to exercise like the locals do in some countries, such as going barefoot.

So many Tuk-Tuks, so little taxis here in Jijiga, Somali!

Almost got to the airport of Jigjiga too late as l thought the airport of Jijiga was in the city. Last minute found out Jijiga Airport (JIJ) is 30 minutes outside the city center!

So I had to get a taxi and that was an adventure to find one because there are only tuktuks available. #jijiga #ethiopia #somali 2025-08-27 01:24:18 So many Tuk-Tuks, so litt.. 25 -95% 4 -73%
Went to check out the bus situation between Jijiga and Hargeisa Somaliland and it was easy...

In Ethiopia finding bus connections between cities was pretty challenging and difficult here in Jijiga, Somali Region it is super easy.

People pointed me in the direction of the Marhaba bus station and there I found a proper ticket office, destinations map, easy and understandble info. All pretty well arranged.

That makes my bus trip from Jijiga to Hargeisa, Somaliland so much easier! Somaliland I am coming soon... ✌🏼

Welcome to the heart of Jijiga, capital of the Somali Region in Ethiopia. 🇪🇹🤝🏽🇸🇴

I am surprised by the uncountable Tuk-Tuks. It makes going around very easy and I met so many nice Tuk-Tuk drivers in Jigjiga.

Yeah! FINALLY!!! On my (unexpected) last night I found the best hotel in Jijiga!

After my rejection to travel to Somaliland I returned back to Jijiga and since I didnt like my other hotels (see my videos on my profile) I looked for another recommend hotel by you guys.

Thanks for all the comments in previous videos with travel tips for Jijiga!

📍 Classic Hotel, Jijiga 🇪🇹

Several people mentioned Classic Hotel and I am happy I stayed here.

Much better than the other 2 hotels I previously stayed at. The Classic Hotel gave me a much more European style feeling.

They also had a great restaurant and surprisingly a full on rooftop bar with live football. Damn I wish I had stayed here all my trip in Jijiga!

Stranded in Jijiga! 😳🤯 Not complaining I like Jigjiga, but now I need new travel planning after I got denied entry into Somaliland.

So I went to Ethiopian Airlines to see if there are flights from Jijiga to Addis.

It took a little bit of time and effort but I found a flight to Addis Ababa and will see from there what is next! 😁

What is the best lunch café in Jijiga, Somali?

I think I found my fave cafe in Jijiga thanks to your recommendations in the comments on previous videos.

Several people told me to visit the Hiil Cafe! Thanks again.

This hip cafe in Jigjiga, Somali region in Ethiopia is tucked away in a small alley nearby the main crossing.

The cafe has both a downstairs coffee shop and an upstairs lunch restaurant.

It was the best espresso I had so far in Ethiopia.

A juice and espresso for a total of $2 USD and I met a cool local guy from Minnesota who explained me everything about the local Somali culture in this special region here in Ethiopia.

I returned many times to the cafe for a keto-friendly meal that was around $5 USD. Love that lunch cafe in Jigjiga! ❤️🇪🇹🫱🏼‍🫲🏽🇸🇴 #somali #jigjiga #ethiopia 2025-08-25 20:40:50 .. 24 -95% 3 -79%
Is this the best coffee place in Jijiga?

Another Jigjiga recommended from all of your comment was this cafe.

It looks like a fancy coffee cafe. But is the coffee good? I went to test it and yes this cafe serves a good cappucino.

This hip coffee cafe in Jijiga gets my blessing. The name is la Luna.

It is on the side of a busy road and it is pretty loud inside! Therefore I prefer the more quiet coffee place which is one of my other videos.

But this was a nice place for sure recommended when you travel to Jijiga. ❤️🇪🇹🇸🇴 #jigjiga #somali #ethiopia 2025-08-25 18:00:52 Is this t.. 22 -95% 1 -93%
Denied access to the mosque in Jijiga! 🤷🏽‍♂️ That came unexpected! 😳 Some guy wanted to deny me access then some other guys came to defend me… and took me inside.

In the end I was allowed access and then people came to fight next to me while I quietly sat down admiring the peaceful ans beautiful mosque…

Debating if I as allowed to enter or not! 🤷🏽‍♂️

Anyway, it was a huge mosque from the inside. Not allowed to film and I of course respect the rules and kept my phone in my pocket and did not film.

Any football fans? What is your team? Tell me…

Although not deserved... congratz Arsenal! 😉

Despite the loss of Manchester United I am still excited about this sports bar in Jugjiga where I ended up watching Manchester united against Arsenal!

Found a small movie theater turned into a sports bar with live football.

Not really a bar of course, because there are no drinks. Most people here in Jigjiga are Muslims.

They made stands and chairs and I had to pay 100 Birr to enter. That is like $0.6 USD.

Incredible atmosphere, great experience and introduction to Jijiga! Fun nightlife in Jijiga for sure. This place might be a local cinema I guess when there is no football.
