- The first Seoul drone show of the autumn season was amazing! It was K-pop Demon Hunters themed, and they created such a wonderful show. I avoided the crowds by watching it from across the Hangang, but I could still hear the cheers from the other side as certain images were created. The next drone show is on Saturday, September 13th at Ttukseom Hangang Park, and it’s free! Hey! I’m Shelley travelstained, and I’m sharing all the weird, wild, and wonderful of Korea. - 🧡 if you’re visiting South Korea in October, you need to watch this guide! 🔸 October is the middle month of autumn in Korea, and one of the best months to travel to Seoul. It’s probably one of my favourite times of the year! 🍁 Fall foliage is forecast to begin in Seoraksan National Park at the beginning of October. By mid-October, autumn leaves start changing colour in Seoul and Gyeonggido - and by the end of the month, most of Korea is awash in colour. 😎 Here’s a quick guide to October in Korea to help you plan your trip. ☀️ WEATHER - October is as good as it gets in Korea weather-wise - low humidity, low pollution, little rain, cool nights - warm days, strong sun and blue sky 🧢 WHAT TO WEAR AND PACK - layers, layers, layers! - comfortable sneakers for thousands of steps and stairs - warmer layers for evenings - if you’re from a tropical country, you might even feel cold, especially at night - sunscreen ✔️hats ✔️sunbrella ✔️ 🇰🇷THINGS TO SEE AND DO - head south to Buyeo and Gongju for the Great Baekje Festival - admire the lanterns in Jinju (make sure to try Jinju naengmyun)! - see the last Seoul drone show of the season - go on a Starlight tour of Gyeongbokgung Palace - relax at Seoul’s outdoor library on weekends - make the trip to Yangju Nari Park or Goseokjeong for a sea of autumn flowers - head outdoors for hiking, sports, and exploring 😍 LOCAL TIP There’s a rare 10 day holiday taking place from October 2-12, due to Chuseok and other holidays lining up. If you’re visiting during this time, book your KTX trains, buses etc… early. Better yet - just stay put in Seoul. 👉 Comment OCTOBER to get a full guide to these events and more sent directly to you. ➡️ These DMs usually only work if you’re following travelstained, or your settings allow it. 😅 #visitkorea #koreatraveltips #koreatrip #seoultrip #autumninkorea #autumninseoul #seoullife #seoultravel #southkoreatrip #southkoreatravel #southkorea🇰🇷
