Part 1 of the struggle is done! I tried my best to mask my loose skin with a smile and my little gains besties! I was extremely proud of my hard work and dedication and it’s one of the reasons I stood so proud with my loose skin but something no one ever knew… was looking in the mirror naked. No clothes. Just loose skin. It also affected my relationships. I hid my body and avoided intimacy ever since I’ve lost the weight. ![9 days ago I started my loose skin removal journey! After losing 110lbs naturally I finally had the courage to get rid of the loose skin. Starting with my upper body! I did an arm lift, breast lift, breast augmentation and a lateral chest incision! I’m still recovering but seeing my arms and breast after struggling with my loose skin for so long made me extremely emotional and to be honest a part of me was in shook.
A part of me couldn’t believe that I finally decided to let go, a part of me was relieved that I no longer have to deal with boob tape or hide under long sleeves and sweaters because of the loose skin on my arms! And a part of me also feels like a stranger in my body, it’s hard to explain since I’ve been so used to looking a certain way for so long! 22 years of being overweight, Then 3 years dropping the weight, building muscle and maintain! Now this new version of me! I’m in disbelief and a part of me is having a hard time stepping into this energy since I never allowed myself to feel hot.. or sexy, even after losing the weight since the loose skin on my chest made it extremely hard for me to do so.
