✅ Best time to weigh yourself:

🛏 Right after you wake up, after using the bathroom (post urinating and passing your bowel movements), before eating or drinking anything.

➤ This gives you the most accurate and consistent reading, since your body hasn’t been influenced by meals, workouts, or fluid intake. 

🌞 Same day, same time, same scale
➤ Consistency is key. Weighing yourself under the same conditions helps you track actual progress, not daily fluctuations.

❌ When not to weigh yourself:

🍛🥛	After meals or drinking water
➤ Your weight can spike temporarily just from the food and fluid in your stomach.

🏋‍♂️🏃‍♀️	After intense workouts
➤ You might weigh less due to water loss (sweat), but that’s not fat loss, it’s dehydration.

🩸	During your menstrual cycle (for women)
➤ Hormonal shifts can cause bloating and water retention, making the scale read higher than your actual baseline.

🧳🍸 Right after travel, salty meals, or alcohol
➤ All of these can cause temporary bloating or fluid retention, misleading your true progress.

🎯 Bottom line:
Weigh yourself 1–2 times a week, in the morning, after using the bathroom.

Remember, daily weight fluctuations are practically meaningless. Weekly weight averages can indicate trends. Monthly changes in appearance and clothing fit begin to tell the real story.
