Criticism is the price of building anything big 

If you’re doing anything that actually matters…. people are going to criticize you.

Not everyone is going to clap. 

Some will doubt you. 

Some will laugh… some will wait for you to fail so they can say “I told you so.”

That’s the price of building something that moves beyond average.

Criticism is not a sign you’re doing something wrong.. it’s evidence you’re in the damn arena.

If you struggle with this… I got you

1. Separate noise from signal.

Most criticism is projection. 

It’s about them their fear… insecurity or envy not about you. 

But every now and then, there’s a gem of truth. 

Train yourself to pause, sift through it and chew up the meat and spit out the bones. 

2. Detach ego from feedback.

If every critique feels like an attack on your identity… you’ll break. 

As a leader you need to hold the paradox… stay humble enough to hear feedback but strong enough not to crumble under opinions.

3. Anchor yourself to your MISSION. 

If you’re clear on what you’re building and why outside voices don’t shake you the same way. 

Your mission is the filter if their words don’t align with it… let them bounce off.

4. Reframe criticism as fuel.

Instead of asking… Why are they saying this about me? 

“What does this mean about the size of the game I’m playing?” 

Big visions attract big criticism. 

Take it as confirmation you’re pushing the boundaries.

Average people avoid criticism by playing small. 

Leaders embrace it by aiming higher.

When you stop fearing criticism… you stop living for approval.

And that’s when you grow not just as a business… but as a human being.

❤️ I think we all bleed red… hear me out.

I woke up this morning after not being able to sleep last night, trying to put words to what I’ve been feeling.

I watch so many of my brothers and sisters unravel in different ways and I ask myself: “How do I help?” Because I’m wired to be a fixer… blessing and curse, lol.

But the truth is no ONE person will ever get the whole world to believe the same thing at the same time. Maybe we’re not supposed to. Maybe each of us is here for our own path.

And here’s the danger: when we get self-righteous and force our beliefs, we become no better than the enemy we claim to hate, standing on a pedestal yelling, “I’m right, you’re wrong.”

Here are the facts (because I’m a research girl 🙋🏻‍♀️):

👉 4,000+ religions. Which one’s “right”?
👉 167 countries, only 24 full democracies. Which one’s “best”?
👉 195 nationalities. Which one’s “superior”?
👉 Billions of skin tones. Which one’s “better”?

Ask 8 billion people what love means you’ll get 8 billion answers. So who’s “right”? Nobody wins that argument.

The best we can do is live it. Show it. Walk our path and let people step in if it feels right for them.

That’s what makes the world special. If every voice sounded like Céline Dion, every brain like Einstein, every body like an Olympian, nothing would stand out. Who would care for the sick? Who would paint murals and splash color across city streets? It’s our differences that make us beautiful.

But one thing never changes: cut any of us open, and we ALL bleed red. ❤️

In the hospital, you don’t care if your blood donor was Christian, Muslim, gay, straight, black, white, man, or woman. You only care if it matches your type. And the color is always the same.

Despite the headlines, we live in the least violent era of history. Most people just want love. Most people can give love. Most people are just walking around with broken hearts.

At the end of the day:
Our differences make us beautiful.

Our blood makes us ONE.
Red = humanity.
Red = brothers and sisters.

Day One. Kickboxing.

When I was 23, I got my real estate license. Truth? I didn’t even feel smart enough to do that. But I refused to quit. I became obsessed with getting better… role-playing every day, showing up at 7:30 sharp, replaying my consultations, training nonstop, investing over $350,000 in coaches. 

I never wanted trophies unless I earned them. 

At 40, I conquered my fear of public speaking.

And now at 47, I’m circling back to something I’ve loved since childhood…kickboxing. 

I had to quit back then because my parents couldn’t afford it. But some dreams don’t die. They wait.

Here’s the deal:

👉 Success in business doesn’t mean you’ve arrived. We all still have areas to grow.

👉 Our world has gotten soft. Luxuries make us lazy. We sit on couches, behind screens, forgetting what hard work feels like.

👉 Anything worth having… the business, the body, the life, is gonna cost you effort, discipline, sweat.

By 50, I will be in the best shape of my life. Not because it’s easy. But because I know how to fight for what I want.

And the soundtrack? Sia’s Unstoppable. Because when I need to light myself up, that’s the song I blast. 

I’m a Porsche with no brakes and yes, I happen to drive one 😀
