If you know me online or off - I’m a type A to the max but only because being in control makes me feel less anxious. I like to have a plan. This is why Japan is a lovely match for me ( or maybe I like a plan BECAUSE of Japan?) We’ve now checked out of the Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince Hotel. I was so impressed - it was one of those hotels that just made everything feel easy. Even though the area is nice and quiet - you’re only 3 stops from Tokyo Station and 3 stops from Maihama Station ( aka the station outside Tokyo Disneyland !) It’s also 10 mins in a taxi from Team Lab Planets ! Possibly my favourite Japanese word out there. 🍦🍭 Literally means ‘separate stomach’ but actually perfectly describes how you can sometimes manage to always squeeze in dessert when you’ve completely stuffed yourself at dinner.
