![Our best LA trip yet! 🌴✨ Huge thanks to roadsideattractionsfilms for flying us out for the twinlessfilm premiere (10/10 recommend 👯♀️🎬). We even got to watch our red-headed triplet jessicachastain accept her Hollywood star ⭐️ and spotted legends like Al Pacino and violadavis — so surreal!
Funny enough, when we first came to LA years ago, we thought it would be like that I Love Lucy episode where she “borrows” a star from Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and dines at The Brown Derby. Let’s just say… it did not go that way 😅.

Here’s the thing about the controversial “Twins hate when you ask if they’re twins”
It’s never JUST that question though. There’s always something that comes along with it.
We’ve had people swear we were the most identical set of twins they’ve ever seen in their entire lives. We’ve known people for years who still can’t tell us apart.
On the other side of this, we’ve had people tell us we’re totally lying and there’s no way we’re identical twins because they have absolutely NO problem telling us apart and don’t know what everyone else is talking about.
The latter is more annoying because it comes after we’ve just complimented them on being so observant... and people have gone so far as to list out what they think our differences are. It’s not even crossed their mind if either of us is self conscience about anything. One of us has been told her earlobes were longer, one has been called bigger, and yes-one of us has been called prettier.

“Why don’t your names match?” - People always seem disappointed because our names don’t rhyme, start with the same letter, or otherwise
“go together like twin names”. We are so happy to not share names, and we love twins that do however to all new parents about to have twins that ask us for advice, we say, “they already share a face and body, let their names give them some individuality.”
“You’re prettier and you’re smarter” - Again, you could just say “they’re pretty or you are smart”.
Why does it need to be a comparison? Why does one have to be lesser then the other? We don’t like to be compared-favorably or unfavorably.
Like us for who we are, not for how we stack up against each other.
