ICELAND 🇮🇸❄️🔥🌋

Dream trip, but don’t let the costs burn your budget! ⬇️

🙌🏼 SAVE this to cut costs (without missing the magic).

🔥 9 MONEY SAVING TIPS FOR ICELAND:

1️⃣ Skip Bottled Water
Icelandic tap water = some of the purest on Earth. Bring a reusable bottle + save $2–4 each time.

2️⃣ Cook Your Own Meals
Eating out is $$$ (burgers $20–30). Stay somewhere with a kitchen + shop at Bonus/Kronan/Netto.

3️⃣ Use Discount Gas Cards
Car rental? Ask for Olís/N1 fuel cards or supermarket deals — savings add up fast.

4️⃣ Book Early
Hotels skyrocket close to your dates. Book early + save 20–40%. Guesthouses/hostels/farm stays = cheaper.

5️⃣ Focus on Free Nature
Waterfalls, lava fields, black sand beaches, cliffs… all FREE. You don’t need pricey tours for epic views.

6️⃣ Choose Local Pools
Blue Lagoon = $60–100+. Local hot pools? $5–10. Relax like a local without draining your wallet.

7️⃣ Travel in Shoulder Season
May–Jun or Sep–Oct = cheaper flights, car rentals, + fewer crowds.

8️⃣ Share Cars or Use Bus Passes
Rental + gas solo = $70–120/day. Split costs with others or grab a Reykjavík Excursions bus passport.

9️⃣ Pack Smart
Bring layers, waterproofs, + snacks from home. Outdoor gear in Iceland is $$$ (jackets $300+).

💸 Daily Budget Breakdown (per person):
🟢 Frugal Trip → $90–160/day (£72–128)

🟡 Mid-Range Trip → $270–500/day (£216–400)

⚖️ 7 days = $630–1,120 frugal vs. $1,890–3,500 mid-range. Potential savings: $2,000+!

👇 COMMENT: Would you go frugal (DIY + local) or mid-range (tours + hotels)?

🙌🏼 SAVE this for planning!
💌 SEND to your travel buddy who overspends on coffee.

UNPOPULAR OPINION: FULL MOON PARTIES AREN’T WHAT YOU THINK 🌕🔥🏝️

Every time I say this, people look at me like I’ve just ruined their backpacking dream. But let’s be real…Thailand’s famous Full Moon Party is not the magical cultural experience it’s hyped up to be.

Back in the late ’80s, it started as a backpacker beach rave. Fast forward to now? It’s a full blown industry that pulls in tens of thousands every month. And while that sounds epic, the reality isn’t always so pretty.

🎭 Tourist Trap, Not Tradition
Many travelers think it’s some ancient Thai festival. Spoiler: locals rarely go. It was created for foreigners and has stayed that way.

⚠️ Safety Is Sketchy
Pickpocketing, drink spiking, even drownings happen. The party vibe hides how dangerous it can get once you’re in the chaos.

🚮 The Beach Turns Into A Dump
The morning after, Haad Rin looks more like a landfill than paradise…plastic cups, bottles, cigarette butts everywhere. Locals are left to clean up the mess.

💊 Drugs Are Around…But Risky
Yes, you’ll get offered stuff. But Thai drug laws are some of the strictest in the world. Arrests, scams, and undercover stings are common.

🥴 Paradise? Not Always
Imagine thousands of drunk people, glass bottles, fire ropes, zero crowd control… fights, burns, hospital trips happen more than you’d think.

🙃 Overhyped Much?
Plenty of travelers do it once for the bucket list then admit it wasn’t worth the chaos, the crowds, or the next-day regret.

✨ To be fair, the music, lights, and sheer energy are unforgettable for some. But let’s not pretend it’s for everyone.

So yeah… the Full Moon Party is wild, but it’s not the “life changing cultural experience” Instagram makes it look like. Sometimes it’s just a giant messy rave on the beach.

Would you still go, or are you team “once was enough”? 😂

Have you ever been to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary in Ubud, Bali? 🐒🌴

It’s one of the most fascinating places I’ve visited…an ancient jungle filled with temples, towering trees, and hundreds of long tailed macaques roaming completely free.

Watching them leap through the branches, groom each other, and play chase down mossy stone steps feels like stepping into another world. ✨

But here’s the thing…as cute as they are, these monkeys are WILD. And they don’t play by tourist rules.

I’ve seen them unzip backpacks, swipe sunglasses, even snatch water bottles straight out of someone’s hand. 🤯 One moment you’re laughing, the next you’re wondering how fast a monkey can disappear with your stuff (spoiler: very fast).

And while a “monkey selfie” might sound fun, it’s really not worth it. 🚫📸 Getting too close can stress them out or worse…end with a bite or scratch. Remember, you’re in their home, not the other way around.

Some quick tips if you go:
👉 Keep a safe distance…admire, don’t touch.
👉 Hold onto your belongings (seriously, they’re pros at stealing).
👉 Skip direct eye contact with the big males.
👉 And please, don’t try to pose with them.

The beauty of this sanctuary is that the macaques live freely. 🪵🌿 They’re not staged, not controlled, just wild and unpredictable. That freedom is what makes it so unforgettable…but it also means we need to be mindful guests.

For me, that’s what makes the Monkey Forest magical. Not just the laughter when one outsmarts a tourist, but the reminder that the best travel moments come from respecting nature, not trying to control it. 💚

So if you’re heading to Bali, definitely put Ubud’s Monkey Forest on your list. Go with curiosity, go with caution, and go with respect. The stories (and maybe a few close calls) will stay with you long after you leave.

Have you ever had a wild animal surprise you while traveling? 🦎🐘🦜

Bangkok is famous for its temples by day…but when the sun sets, the city truly dazzles from above. ✨

Rooftop bars here aren’t just places to grab a drink; they’re sky high experiences that mix jaw dropping views, creative cocktails, and unforgettable vibes. 🍸

The first time I stepped into Sky Bar at Lebua State Tower, I felt like I was floating. 64 floors up, golden dome glowing, the famous “Hangovertini” in hand…it’s pure cinematic glamour (yes, The Hangover Part II was filmed here!).

But Bangkok’s rooftop scene doesn’t stop there.

🌙 Vertigo & Moon Bar (Banyan Tree)- Nothing between you and the sky. Sleek, minimal, and impossibly romantic.

☁️ Sky Beach (The Standard Mahanakhon) – 78 floors up. Retro-tropicana vibes, glass staircases, live DJs. The city’s highest rooftop bar…and seriously Instagrammable. 📸

🌴 Tichuca Rooftop Bar (Thonglor) – A glowing LED “Avatar” tree, jungle vibes, tiki cocktails, and high-energy nights. This is the party rooftop locals love.

🌆 Park Society (SO/ Bangkok) – Overlooking Lumpini Park. Chic yet relaxed, perfect for cocktails, sharing plates, and conversations that stretch into the night.

✨ My tip? Start at sunset with a classic like Sky Bar, then dive into the nightlife at Tichuca or Sky Beach. Each rooftop has its own personality and together, they make Bangkok’s skyline unforgettable.

Amalfi Coast 🇮🇹

Where Land Meets Legend

A 50-kilometer stretch of cliffs, coves, and colorful towns, it’s a coastline that feels more like a dream than a destination.

Once a collection of fishing villages and trading ports, today it’s where dramatic landscapes meet timeless tradition…where pastel houses cling to mountainsides, lemon groves tumble toward the sea, and winding roads reveal one postcard view after another.

Yes, it’s popular. But that’s the magic: energy buzzing in piazzas, boats dotting the turquoise water, locals carrying baskets of lemons bigger than your hand.

This isn’t just a coast…it’s the coast. The one that has inspired artists, poets, and travelers for centuries.

The Amalfi Coast is for those who crave both spectacle and soul. Medieval cathedrals, cliffside villas, hidden beaches, family run trattorias…you’ll find them all along this legendary shoreline.

Come for the views, stay for the stories.

Top 5 Things to Do on the Amalfi Coast:

⛪ Explore the towns:
From glamorous Positano to historic Amalfi, chic Ravello to hidden gems like Praiano, every stop feels like a world of its own.

🍋 Taste lemon perfection:
Sip limoncello, try lemon pasta, or grab a refreshing granita…lemons are the soul of the coast.

🌊 Cruise the coastline:
See the villages from the sea, stop at secluded beaches, and watch the cliffs light up at sunset.

🎶 Ravello’s music & gardens:
Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo mix panoramic views with art, history, and world-famous concerts under the stars.

🚗 Drive (or ride) the Amalfi Drive:
One of the most scenic roads in the world, hairpin turns, jaw-dropping views, and plenty of photo stops.

📍 The Amalfi Coast is about drama, beauty, and living the dolce vita. It’s not just a destination…it’s an experience you’ll never forget.

SAVE this post for your next Bangkok foodie adventure 🍜🍛🇹🇭🍡🥟

As you can see from my Reel I’ve enjoyed lots of time in Bangkok!

If you know where to go, there are so many amazing places to eat in Bangkok 😋

Some of my favourite experiences have been:

Wandering around Chinatown at night when all the signs are lit up, discovering the best dumplings ever and going back for more 🥟

Visiting the market and just trying anything and everything I felt like, smacking my way around all evening 🤩

My TOP TIP though for finding the best places to eat in Bangkok (or anywhere for that matter), is to always look where locals are eating! 🇹🇭

And, BONUS TIP: skip the Pad Thai, it’s never as good as you think it’s going to be, most places cater to tourists, and there are SO many, much better dishes to try!

1️⃣ Before deciding where to eat, have a wander and acquaint yourself with the different options!

2️⃣ Note where the queues are, and what local people are queuing for and buying!

3️⃣ Choose your favourite/s and chow down! Be adventurous! And remember, skip the Pad Thai 😉

NORTHERN LIGHTS IN ICELAND 🇮🇸🌌❄️

One of the most magical shows on Earth… but only if you know when & where to look! ⬇️

🙌🏼 SAVE this so you don’t miss your Aurora moment in Iceland!

Here’s what to know about chasing the Northern Lights ⬇️

Iceland’s skies can burst into green, purple, and pink waves of light…but catching them takes patience, planning, and a little luck 🌠 Don’t just hope they appear… set yourself up for success!

🔥 7 NORTHERN LIGHTS TIPS YOU NEED TO KNOW:

1️⃣ Best time of year
Aurora season runs late August to mid-April. Long, dark nights = your best chance.

2️⃣ Best time of night
Peak hours are 10 pm – 2 am. Stay up late…the lights love to show off while most are asleep.

3️⃣ Where to go
Get away from city lights! Top spots: Þingvellir National Park, Snæfellsnes Peninsula, Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, and anywhere with wide, dark skies. 🌌

4️⃣ Check the forecast
Two things matter: clear skies + aurora activity. Use the Icelandic Met Office site for real time updates before heading out.

5️⃣ Be patient & dress warm
Sometimes it takes hours… and Iceland nights are freezing. Layers, hot drinks, and a tripod buddy will save you.

6️⃣ Camera tips
Manual mode is a must:
	•	Wide lens (f/2.8 or lower if possible)
	•	Shutter speed 5–15 seconds
	•	ISO 800–3200 (depending on brightness)
	•	Tripod + remote or timer to avoid shake

7️⃣ Don’t just watch through the lens
Snap your shots, but take time to look up. The Aurora is a memory you’ll carry forever. ✨

👇 COMMENT below…would you rather see the lights over glaciers or mountains?

ICELAND 🇮🇸🔥❄️🌋

If you’ve ever driven through Iceland, you get it. The roads aren’t just roads…they cut through lava fields, wind past glaciers, snake along black sand beaches, and feel like you’re on another planet.

Coming from the UK, where our “scenic drive” usually means sheep, hedgerows, and the occasional castle 🏰🐑… Iceland hits different.

Here’s why driving here is like nothing we have back home ⬇️

🔥 6 REASONS ICELAND’S ROADS WILL BLOW YOUR MIND:

1️⃣ Lava fields for days
Forget motorways lined with service stations. In Iceland its miles of moss covered lava stretching to the horizon.

2️⃣ Waterfalls as pit stops
Need a break? Just pull over next to a roaring waterfall taller than a skyscraper. Casual. 💦

3️⃣ Black sand beaches
The roads literally end in beaches that look like they belong in a sci-fi movie. 🌌

4️⃣ Glaciers on the horizon
One minute you’re driving past green fields… the next, BAM a glacier the size of a city appears.

5️⃣ Wild skies
In the UK: grey drizzle. In Iceland: golden midnight sun or dancing Northern Lights. No contest. 🌞✨🌌

6️⃣ Zero traffic jams
Okay, maybe the occasional sheep roadblock 🐑… but that’s it.

So yes, I’m filming the road. Every. Single. Minute. 🎥 Because Iceland isn’t just about the destinations…the drive is the adventure.

👇 Would you rather road trip in Iceland under the midnight sun 🌞 or chasing Northern Lights ❄️?

Wat Pho is one of Bangkok’s most treasured temples, a place where history, beauty, and peace come together. ✨

Home to the world famous Reclining Buddha, this sacred site offers an unforgettable glimpse into Thailand’s spiritual heart.

The first time I stepped into Wat Pho, I was in awe. The golden Reclining Buddha, stretching an incredible 46 meters long, is breathtaking. The intricate mother of pearl details on its feet, the serene expression, and the sheer scale of it…it’s a sight that stays with you forever.

But beyond the Buddha, Wat Pho is a peaceful oasis in the middle of Bangkok’s chaos. 🌿 The temple grounds are filled with stunning chedis (stupas), tranquil courtyards, and the soft sound of temple bells, making it a perfect place to slow down and take it all in.

Some fascinating facts about Wat Pho:

1️⃣ Wat Pho is one of Bangkok’s oldest temples, dating back to the 16th century, and it was later expanded by King Rama I.

2️⃣ It’s considered the birthplace of traditional Thai massage! In fact, the temple still runs a famous massage school where you can learn or experience this healing art.

3️⃣ The complex houses over 1,000 Buddha images, more than any other temple in Thailand, making it a true cultural treasure.

Thinking of visiting Wat Pho? Here are some essential tips:

1️⃣ Dress Respectfully: As with all temples, cover your shoulders and knees. Light, breathable clothes are best since Bangkok can get hot.

2️⃣ Go Early: Arrive in the morning to avoid the crowds and enjoy a more peaceful experience.

3️⃣ Don’t Miss the Details: Take time to admire the murals, sculptures, and the smaller shrines scattered throughout the complex…they’re just as beautiful as the main Buddha.

🤫 My last tip? Stay a little longer after your visit to enjoy a traditional Thai massage right at the temple…it’s the perfect way to end a day of exploration.

TREVI FOUNTAIN 🇮🇹⛲

The Trevi Fountain is breathtaking…but here’s the thing:

This video was filmed before 7am…and it’s already packed. Shoulder to shoulder, selfie sticks everywhere, the works.

📍With over 27,000 visitors a day, it’s one of the busiest spots in Rome. That peaceful “toss a coin in silence” moment? Pretty rare.

But honestly…that’s part of the magic too.

The energy, the buzz, the crowd all gathered around a Baroque masterpiece…it’s Rome in full swing.

✨ Pro tip: if you really want it quiet, you’ll need to roll in closer to 5:30am. Otherwise, embrace the chaos and enjoy the spectacle.

🙌🏼 SAVE these top Singapore tips for later!

Call me cheesy, call me touristy, I don’t care!

I LOVED visiting The Long Bar at Raffles in Singapore!

Here are my TOP TIPS for a visit ⬇️

1️⃣ There is no need for formal dress to visit The Long Bar, but smart-casual is fine, just be presentable 🥂

2️⃣ Again, you don’t need to book in advance, but the bar is likely to be busier at weekends and evenings, so time your visit well ⏰

3️⃣ I personally recommend you sit at the bar, as it has such a fun vibe, plenty of peanuts and you’re close to all the incredible cocktail making action 🍸

4️⃣ Drinks start from about 10SGD, so you can enjoy this place affordably! I recommend trying a Singapore Sling to start, and then some epic long beers if that’s your thing🍻

5️⃣ Be brave and ask to have a go at the one-of-a-kind cocktail shaker machine - it’s fun and the bar staff are so nice and super happy to show you how it works 😊

SAVE this post for later for your reminder for why you should avoid these things in Thailand ❗️

1️⃣ Elephant riding: elephants go through a horrific process called Phajaan - which means ‘spirit crushing’. It means they’re beaten, isolated, starved and more.

Instead, go to somewhere like Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai where you can see rescued elephants living happily and cared for! 🐘

2️⃣ Tiger selfies: the tigers are also mistreated and heavily dr4gged, meaning their health is very poor and they aren’t cared for!

Instead, go on a wildlife tour in Koh Sok National Park where you can see incredible wildlife like wild monkeys, snakes, and beautiful birds! 🐅

3️⃣ Full moon party: sorry to say it, but the full moon party is dead. Many people are pick-pocketed at these events, dr4gs are offered and it’s not worth the risk!

Plus, the beach is always completely trashed the next day! Do you really want to be the person that participates in that? 🌕

4️⃣ White water rafting: it’s a story for another day, but when I went white water rafting in Thailand I realised how dangerous the experience was, with no regard for safety.

Someone drowned and had to be rescuscitated after being trapped under the boats, someone else had a dislocated shoulder! Instead go in New Zealand where they’re experienced and care about safety 🛶

5️⃣ Koh Phi Phi: wow, where to start? Phi Phi is such a let down! Trash and rubbish everywhere, totally over-populated/touristed, the loudest island I visited!

I honestly cannot understand why people like Phi Phi, it’s top of the list of worst places I’ve ever visited! 🏝️

ICELAND 🇮🇸❄️🔥🌋

Heading to the Land of Fire & Ice? Before you go, here are 9 quick tips that will make your trip smoother, safer, and way more magical ⬇️

🙌🏼 SAVE this so you’re prepared for your Iceland adventure!

Iceland = glaciers, waterfalls, lava fields, black sand beaches, puffins, and surreal skies 🌌 … but knowing a few local tips can make all the difference.

🔥 9 QUICK TIPS FOR VISITING ICELAND:

1️⃣ Daylight & Darkness
Summer brings nearly 24 hours of daylight 🌞, while winter is mostly dark ❄️. Plan activities accordingly!

2️⃣ Drink the Tap Water
No need to buy bottles—it’s some of the cleanest and safest water on Earth 💧.

3️⃣ Buying Alcohol
You won’t find wine or spirits in grocery stores—only in government-run shops called Vínbúðin 🍷.

4️⃣ Respect Nature
Stay on marked paths, never step on moss (it takes decades to grow!), and admire nature without harming it 🌱.

5️⃣ No Need to Tip
Service charges are included, so tipping isn’t expected. Icelanders don’t usually tip at restaurants 💵.

6️⃣ Fuel Up Often
Petrol stations can be few and far between in the countryside ⛽—top up whenever you can.

7️⃣ Swimming Pool Etiquette
Pools are a big part of local life! But you must shower (naked, no swimsuit) before getting in 🏊‍♂️.

8️⃣ Cards Over Cash
Credit and debit cards are accepted almost everywhere—even for tiny purchases 💳.

9️⃣ Northern Lights Reality Check
They’re magical, but never guaranteed. Your best chance is in winter on clear, dark nights 🌌.

👇 COMMENT below — would you rather chase waterfalls under the midnight sun or the Northern Lights in winter?

🙌🏼 SAVE this for your Iceland planning!

This island nation off the west coast of Africa is where cultures collide in the best way possible…African, European, and Portuguese influences blend into vibrant music, flavorful food, and the most uplifting vibes. 🎶🥘

If you’ve been craving an adventure that’s equal parts relaxation, culture, and connection…Cape Verde is calling. 🇨🇻💙

Walking through the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento 🇮🇹 feels less like visiting a tourist site and more like stepping back into the age of gods and legends.

Towering Greek columns rise from the Sicilian hills, framed by olive trees and open skies…it’s a place where history feels alive.

🌿 Tips to make the most of your visit:

1.	Time it right: Arrive either early in the morning or close to sunset. The crowds thin out and the temples glow beautifully in soft light.

2.	Bring water & good shoes: The site is huge, with lots of walking and uneven terrain. Staying hydrated and comfortable makes a big difference.

3.	Add the museum: The Regional Archaeological Museum nearby is packed with statues, vases, and treasures that help you understand the stories behind the ruins.

What struck me most here is how myth and history merge so naturally with the Sicilian landscape.

You’re not just looking at old stones…you’re standing inside stories that have been told for thousands of years.

If you’re road tripping through southern Italy, make sure Agrigento and Porto Empedocle are on your list.

This isn’t just a stop…it’s an experience that stays with you long after you leave. ✨

🌺 Positano

From afar, Positano looks like a watercolor painting brought to life: pastel houses stacked like macarons on a cliff, bougainvillea spilling down walls, and the glittering Mediterranean at its feet.

It’s a place that makes you whisper “wow” every five seconds.

But here’s the truth nobody puts in the brochure: Positano is stairs. Endless, soul testing, quad burning, stairmaster on steroids stairs.

Locals call it the “Vertical Town.” Translation: prepare to climb your way through paradise.

That romantic stroll? Actually 742 steps. That dreamy beach photo? You earn it with sweat, calves of steel, and maybe a tear or two.

Still, Positano is the kind of beautiful that makes every step worth it. Just… maybe don’t wear flip flops.

3 Must-Dos in Positano (if your legs survive):

🛶 Boat it: See the town from the water where you can admire the cliffs without climbing them. Bonus: no stairs on a boat.

🛍️ Shop hop: The boutiques are adorable, but remember every “cute little street” is basically a stairwell with better branding.

🍝 Eat everything: Pasta, seafood, limoncello. Calories don’t count here. (You’ll burn them off the moment you try to walk back to your hotel.)

📍 Whether you come by boat or crawl your way up from the beach, Positano is proof that beauty takes effort… and occasionally, a knee brace.

All the must-know details below ⬇️

Italy is full of unforgettable experiences…Venice gondolas, Amalfi lemons, Tuscan wine…but few things make you feel as effortlessly Italian as zipping around on a Vespa 😍🛵🇮🇹

📍This was in Trapani, on Sicily’s western coast…an old world seaside town with winding streets, ocean views, and the perfect backdrop for a Vespa ride.

Here’s what made it unforgettable:

🛵 I rented through Trapani Vespa Tour, and from the moment I hopped on, it felt like a scene from an Italian movie. The freedom, the breeze, the charm…it’s pure dolce vita.

🌊 Cruising along the coast, you pass salt flats glowing pink at sunset, rolling vineyards, and hidden beaches…every turn is a postcard.

💶 Prices are super reasonable for the experience of a lifetime:

🎟️ Vespa rental – starts around €50

Whether you’re chasing coastal roads, discovering hilltop villages, or just soaking up that Vespa freedom, exploring Trapani this way turns a simple day trip into a story you’ll never forget.

‼️Pro tip: Go early in the day to enjoy quieter streets.

So tell me…would YOU ride a Vespa through Sicily?

UNPOPULAR OPINION: I DIDN’T LOVE KOH PHI PHI 😬🏝️

Every time I say this, people act like I’ve just insulted their entire backpacking career. But hear me out…Koh Phi Phi today is not the untouched island paradise it’s often hyped up to be.

Back in the day, Phi Phi had this dreamy reputation: turquoise water, laid back vibes, and that postcard perfect “tropical escape” energy. But over the years? The story’s changed. Big time.

📈 Overcrowded & Overbuilt
Instead of sleepy beach bungalows, there are now rows of hostels, bars, and souvenir shops crammed into every corner. The island feels more like a festival ground than a peaceful getaway.

🍹 Party Island Vibes
If you’re into neon paint, buckets of booze, and music blasting until sunrise, you’ll thrive. But if you came for tranquility and nature, the constant noise can be overwhelming.

🌊 Nature Taking a Hit
With the rise in tourism, the island’s natural beauty has struggled. Maya Bay was famously closed to recover from over tourism, and it’s a reminder of how fragile these “paradises” actually are.

✨ Still Some Magic
Don’t get me wrong the cliffs are still jaw dropping, the water still impossibly blue. But you’ll have to share it with thousands of others all trying to live their “The Beach” fantasy.

So yeah… Phi Phi isn’t bad, it’s just not the hidden gem it used to be. And maybe that’s okay…it’s a different kind of experience now. But can we at least admit it’s not for everyone?

Would you agree or am I about to be chased off the internet by Phi Phi loyalists? 😂

Anyone else do that awkward dance while waiting for the blue dot on Google Maps to catch up so you can figure out which way to go? 😂📍✨⬇️

🙌🏼 SAVE this if you’ve ever spun in a full circle on a random street corner looking like you’re auditioning for “Lost Tourist: The Musical.” COMMENT your funniest “blue dot struggle.”

Don’t get me wrong… Google Maps is a lifesaver. But that first 30 seconds? That’s pure chaos. Like, “dizzy kid at a birthday party piñata” chaos. 💙🗺️

Let’s review the evidence:

🚶‍♀️ The Stand & Stare
You open the map. The dot is there. But…is it facing north? South? Mars? You wait. You squint. Still nothing. Google: 1, Me: confused statue.

🔄 The Slow Spin
So you start turning in tiny circles. Just a casual pirouette in public. Someone nearby thinks you’re looking for UFOs. Google: 2, Me: dizzy.

🏃 The Test Walk
You pick a direction, walk 10 steps, then check again. Wrong way. Back you go. Google: 3, Me: cardio unlocked.

🕺 The Full Dance Break
When all else fails…you combine all three. Spin, stop, walk, squint. Bonus points if you’re dragging a suitcase.

Moral of the story: It’s not a trip until you’ve done the blue dot boogie. 🌍✨

Your turn!
👇 What’s YOUR go to move while waiting for Google Maps to get its act together?

🙌🏼 SAVE this for the next time you’re standing awkwardly on a corner wondering if you’re about to walk into traffic or toward gelato.

ICELAND 🇮🇸❄️🔥🌋

One of the most otherworldly places on Earth… but only if you avoid the rookie mistakes! ⬇️

🙌🏼 SAVE this so your Iceland trip doesn’t get derailed!

Here’s what NOT to do in the Land of Fire & Ice ⬇️

Iceland is waterfalls, black sand beaches, glaciers, lava fields, puffins, and the wildest skies you’ll ever see 🌌 But a trip here takes planning… and trust me, these mistakes can cost you time, money, or even safety.

🔥 9 ICELAND TRAVEL MISTAKES TO AVOID:

1️⃣ Not booking in advance
Blue Lagoon, car rentals, even tours sell out weeks ahead. Don’t wait until you land!

2️⃣ Underestimating driving times
That “2 hour” Google Maps drive? Add time for weather, photo stops… and sheep crossings 🐑

3️⃣ Ignoring the weather warnings
Icelandic weather changes FAST. If locals say don’t drive, don’t. Safety > schedule.

4️⃣ Not budgeting properly
This place is pricey! Think £16 sandwiches, £6–7/L petrol, £6 coffees. Plan so you’re not shocked.

5️⃣ Walking too close to nature
Sneaker waves, fragile moss… Iceland isn’t an Instagram set. Respect it—it’s powerful and delicate.

6️⃣ Skipping the Sky Lagoon
Everyone knows Blue Lagoon, but Sky Lagoon’s infinity pool over the North Atlantic? Unreal. 🌊✨

7️⃣ Forgetting food in remote areas
In the countryside, gas stations = diners. Keep snacks + water in the car.

8️⃣ Visiting only in summer
Summer = waterfalls + midnight sun 🌞. Winter = Northern Lights + ice caves ❄️. Both = magic.

9️⃣ Not layering clothes properly
“4 seasons in a day” is REAL. Base layer + insulation + waterproof shell = survival kit.

👇 COMMENT below — which season would you choose for your Iceland adventure: summer or winter?
