I had a survey done on one of my lots and it turns out the neighbor’s fence is encroaching on my property. Do I lawyer up immediately? No.

Here’s my approach:
1️⃣ Start with a conversation — ask him to move it within 30 days.
2️⃣ Follow up with a letter (so it’s documented).
3️⃣ Keep it respectful — because relationships matter, even in real estate.

Sure, I could just rip it down — but in this business, how you handle conflict is just as important as how you handle deals.
