- Happy 13th wedding anniversary my love 💓 Thank you for choosing me & making me the happiest person on this planet ❤️ here's to eternity and beyond 😘
- Oh hi! Nice to meet you ♥️
- 30 days since we left Mumbai 😳 A LOT of you had reached out asking me about our decision to move out of Mumbai... so I thought I'll write our thoughts down & maybe it'll inspire you too to do something mad like this, or at least make you think about what you want from life ☺️ V & I came to Mumbai in 2006-07 for work. We used to make TV shows. Over time, I quit TV, dabbled in different ideas, eventually found Yoga & became a yoga teacher. Since the pandemic, I exclusively taught online, so I completely worked from home. V, over the years, quit his job, started freelancing and majorly started working from home. So we both were not dependent on Mumbai any more for our livelihood. And since we turned 40, we've felt this ever-increasing need to slow down, to live in a noise-free, traffic-free, pollution-free environment, to have more space, to have more time, to live a little easy, to hustle a little less, to save a bit more, to live close to nature, to be able to hear bird-song and breathe clean air. The pandemic had spoilt us - we had realised how beautiful life could be without the crowds, the pollution, the traffic, the insane rush of Mumbai. Also, we were highly concerned about how the constant firecrackers & loudspeakers were affecting the puppies 😔 On most evenings, they would be extremely stressed out & scared. And that really, really broke our hearts 💔 We wanted to have more space and a noise-free environment for the babies as well. And so we decided to shift base to a tier 2 city! Our plan was to leave Mumbai in January 2026, but in June, certain issues crept up with the house we were living in & the options we were left with were either we shift to another house in Mumbai for 6 months or we move out of Mumbai completely. We chose the later, because we definitely didn't want to shift homes twice in the span of 6 months!!! And that's how we closed our 19 year Mumbai chapter! Why did we choose Mysore? More on that in the next post 😁 #thehappyyogamovement #thehappyyogii #slowlife #slowliving #livingourdream #leavingmumbai #mumbye #choosinglife #livinglifekingsize
