![I’d heard it was turtle hatching season… so I went to see for myself… 🐢🌊🥺

And WOWOWOW. I had zero guarantee that I would see any but I got sooo lucky!!! Watching these tiny babies make their way to the ocean was pure magic ✨😭

🧡 A gentle reminder:
Please don’t touch the turtles - it’s important they build their strength and find their own way to the sea. This journey helps them imprint on the beach, so they know where to return one day to lay their eggs here!
⠀
If one falls into a hole, you can carefully guide it out - but avoid touching the shell. It’s soft and delicate at this stage.
⠀
And if you go, minimise any artificial light - it can confuse them and lead them away from the ocean. 🌙

Turtle hatching season runs from end of July until early September! I recommend going around 7:30-10pm for the best chance to see them 🌅! The beware that the road to the beach isn’t paved.
