- Here’s something you didn’t know you were craving: pickles on pizza. ✨🍕🍻 grandstrandbrewco x pizzasquared843 The PBR (Pickles Bacon Ranch) is bold and addictive. Tangy pickles cut through the richness of smoked bacon and mozzarella cheese, with a ranch drizzle that cools it all down. Punchy, creamy, and totally unexpected. The Spicy Super Pepperoni is stacked with crispy pepperoni, gooey mozzarella, rich tomato sauce, hot honey, and a salty hit of Parmesan. Spicy, savory, and slightly sweet. Detroit-style has a thick, airy crust with caramelized cheese edges, crispy on the outside, soft in the center. Perfect with a cold thesaltygolfer from GSB.
- seasidesunrisecafe is one of the newest additions to Cherry Grove—and already feels like a beach day essential. The Fried Catfish Po Boy is the standout here. Light, crisp breading gives way to flakey, tender catfish sourced near the Santee Cooper Lakes—a detail the chef was more than happy to share. It’s layered with lettuce, diced tomato, a refreshing sauce reminiscent of thousand island, and just the right amount of sweet from bread and butter pickles. Every bite was balanced and deeply satisfying. While their Iced Matcha Latte didn’t quite measure up to my personal favorite from saltybrewscafe the Teddy Graham Latte delivered a pleasant surprise—vanilla, cinnamon, and honey over ice, topped with vanilla cold foam. Sweet and subtly spiced. Though my go-to coffee ( beknowncoffee ) and matcha spots aren’t changing anytime soon, Seaside Sunrise has earned a spot in my rotation. I’ll definitely be starting (& ending) more beach days here. ✨🌞 📍201 Sea Mountain Hwy, North Myrtle Beach, SC
- Farmers Market Fridays are officially back! Running every Friday from now through December, cityofnmbsc brings together a rotating lineup of incredible local vendors (thanks to the waccamawmarkets —you can find one near you across Horry County!). Yesterday’s kickoff had the perfect mix of returning favorites and exciting new finds. Here’s what I grabbed: • Crisp spring mix from microledon_farm • Juicy strawberries from M&M Farms • Fresh sourdough from levebreads • Farm eggs & pasture-raised chicken from fatmountainfarms • Sirloin & ground beef from 455farms • Fragrant and gorgeous Nepeta (catmint) from Tropical Nursery Local eats, handmade goods, plants, baked treats, and more—it’s truly a weekly event worth attending.
