Addressing the allegation that Hermes makes their bags in China in this last segment of my 3-part Reels video. This is a flat-out LIE, and that part of the viral video was really meant to mislead people. On this reels segment, I discussed the subject of popular, well-loved French brands like Dior who (up until they were caught) had been sneakily subcontracting some of their bag manufacturing in Italy to Chinese-owned factories that underpay their migrant workers (and have poor, unsafe working conditions). Again, all unbeknownst to us consumers 💀 Dior apparently paid these Italy-based Chinese factories only $57/bag while charging us consumers over $3500+. The sun's out, bright colors are in fashion, and Spring is here ❤️😍 Brought out one of my all-time favorite Spring-Summer bags to play again! I've recommended mlouye bags for years now (great quality, great styles, and the color combinations are out of this world 😍), and it has been really hard to just pick one bag out of their lineup, but I have to say the Sera Tote (shown here is the Oceania color) gets the most use out of all my Mlouye bags. It's a versatile hand-held piece that also comes with a detachable long strap (crossbody/shoulder carry). The drawstring closure provides ample security too. Womenswear fashion season is coming up soon! And because I've also been Spring cleaning (sadly had to throw away about 5 years' worth of fashion week show invites due to molds), decided to revisit some of my old fashion week photos from 2010 onwards. Back then, no hair & makeup team, no stylist, no assistant, no producer😁 We worked lean & mean 👊🏻 I only had my video director (and best friend) sandor_simon who filmed me for my Fox News Channel - Star World TV show. Honestly, I don't know how we managed with just us 2 working throughout the fashion season, with anywhere between 5-7 shows/appointments (sometimes more) a day, but we powered through with 6-8 cups of espresso daily (Bulgari Hotel, thank you 🤣) ☕️ In the latter years though, I'd fall really ill towards the end of each season and wouldn't recover til at least a month later 😣 Still, we managed 10+ years of fashion week attendance in Milan and Paris 😱 That was an incredible 2025-01-30 20:39:51 .. 156 -55% 15 -43%

One of the most important bag care discoveries I made -- leather bags age really sooo much better in dry climates (Europe and US) vs. humid conditions (Southeast Asia especially). Leather bags tend to be more high maintenance in humid climates -- they require more care (airing out and dry wipe-downs at least once a month at the bare mininum) to prevent molds, discolorations, and the dreaded sticky edge paints. That said, this Marc Jacobs Blake bag is from 2009 and celebrates its 15th year of existence in 2024!
