![I am beyond amazed!
The devotion, the energy, the folk music, and the pure love that people have for Garba in Gujarat.
It was a spectacle seeing this in Vadodara. I attended lvpheritagegarba_official with live folk music playing, and people showing up in unheard of numbers. 20-30k people gathered on a ground, dancing in unison in concentric circles.
Even for somebody who’s new to Garba, once I picked up a few step, one full circle felt like my body reached a state of rhythmic trance.
People here don’t need any stimulants, this is the most pure love that I’ve seen for dance, spirituality, art form and worship as compared to anywhere in the world!
This festival needs to be on everybody’s bucket list, globally!
About Garba - This festival is not just about the outfits, colours or dancing. Garba symbolises devotion and the cycle of life
“Garba” literally translates to the “womb” and is dedicated to the worship of the feminine energy or “Shakti”. To celebrate the dance of Garba is performed for hours in rhythmic movements in unison.
People prepare for it months in advance and start learning the dance. But even if you’re new to this like me, you can stay in the outer circles and you will be welcomed to join in.
It is seriously a regret that I didn’t experience this sooner! ❤️]()

Tree house living in India!
This is possible at keethhouse in Puducherry, and I have to say it was a very one of a kind experience. I’ve stayed at some amazing places around the world and this tops my list of stays for sure.
Thanks to the solid construction by treehousecommunity that the tree was never harmed, but they are teaching us that we can love trees and even earn from them, without ever cutting them. They use naturally fallen wood for their construction.
I had a perfect night out and it felt like a much needed time out in nature. 😉]()

- Katla Ice cave hike: this is the only ice cave that you can visit in the summer months.
- Skaftafell glacier hike: this was such a surreal experience of walking on an actual glacier
- Sky Lagoon: this is a great relaxing/romantic activity for day 1 of your trip.

![ICELAND!!!! 🇮🇸
At first I didn’t understand the hype - the weather was bad and it just felt a bit “Meh” driving from one tourist spot to another.
But then, the sky cleared and I didn’t feel quite ready for the rest of it.
I promise you’ll fall in love like a giddy child - not all at once, but gently, like laughter spilling into an empty room.
Each day feels surreal, a dream I didn’t want to wake up from. Even before I left, I wanted to be back!! To fall for something this deeply feels almost unreasonable, yet I’m YEARNING for the day I’m back! 💙
