5 vintage must-haves to look like a million👇🏽 Save it as your blueprint and check the links to my vintage finds on vestiaireco in stories 1. Statement clip-ons from big luxury houses. They instantly elevate any look and when someone asks me (and they will!) it’s always my favorite to mention that it’s vintage Dior or YSL, especially when I know the decade of the production🙂 2. Scarves, silk carré in particular - as headpiece (I always wear them this way), trendy way - on your waist , or as a bag detail. I prefer the size 45x45 or 50x50, the larger options are harder to style. My favorites are vintage Pucci and YSL. 3. Chanel bags. The price gap with new ones is huge, but the design is forever timeless. And you can always resell later probably for the same price. I have just ordered Jumbo Maxi logo bag, will share in stories when it arrives. 4. Statement blazers. You can often find them brand new for a fraction of the price. My go-tos are vintage YSL and Escada — they fit great and the shoulder line is exceptional. 5. Outerwear — especially Burberry trench coats. Honestly, their old cuts look more chic and trendy than today’s versions. Don’t forget that you can always filter the ‘new with tag’ and ‘never worn’ items on vestiaireco. Back to Milan, back to reality — but still holding on to summer😁 This salad is my secret way to bring back that Portofino seaside vibe while sitting right here in Milano (and while watermelons are still good) Watermelon & Feta Salad — Italian summer on a plate: • Thinly slice a red onion. Marinate it with half a lemon, a splash of water, olive oil, and keep in the fridge. •Cube watermelon and feta. •Slice cucumbers into rounds (yes, you can find good ones even at the Milan markets!) • Layer everything on a large flat plate. • Add fresh basil, mint, salt, pepper, squeeze a half of lemon, drizzle with olive oil. That’s it — simple, delicious and about 10 minutes of your time. The kind of salad you’d enjoy in a restaurant with the Mediterranean sea right under your feet 🙂 And if I can make it at home, anyone can! One bite, and suddenly summer isn’t over just yet.
