Being Emotionally aware is the act of understanding someone else’s ability to communicate what they’re feeling without judging if it’s wrong or right. For me teaching movement is the same act. Emotionally aware of what someone else’s body might be needing as well as what my emotional state can allow. Awareness is a beautiful thing. In the movement state is the purest of times to feel vulnerable and understand life in another way. Art is the process that occurs when we fully disengage of what society thinks we “need” to do. The having no stress zone, no anxiety, no judgement and no negative feedback to ourselves or others. Yes. This is possible. Life would feel so different if we acted upon this more.
