![On the 07-09-2025, we decided to celebrate our son’s 5th month birthday by doing half a hike at seven sisters cliffs on the outskirts of London.
We were fully doubting our decision till the last minute and yes it looks all rosy on Instagram but just getting out of the house with a baby is a battle in itself and as I said already, stayed up after his 4am feed just to make it on time…
To all new parents we are going through the same things the sleepless nights the sudden meltdowns but sometimes we just have to give ourselves no options and “just do it”
The only way you can make memories is by trying to make memories 😍

![How did I lose the baby weight so fast? I honestly wish I had an answer.
By the 8th month, Instagram kept showing me women who bounced back within weeks—and I won’t lie, it used to really annoy me 😋
Truth is, I’m not fully back in shape, but I did lose a significant amount of weight fairly quickly.🧿
What did I do post-birth? Absolutely nothing.
Once the baby arrives, you’re pretty much in full-time service mode. No time to eat, let alone plan your weight loss 🤪 Maybe that helped too? 🤓
But here’s what I did before birth:
• Daily early morning walks
• Prenatal workouts on alternate days with samabirthing and pregnancyandpostpartumtv at home
• Morning workouts + a 20-minute yoga stretch at night for better sleep again by pregnancyandpostpartumtv
• (Mostly followed) a simple, sustainable diet by holistic_fitness_by_mrinmoyee , who I’ve worked with for few years—easy to stick to, unless you’re a foodie like me 🙈
And lastly, I do think genes played a role—my mom still fits into my jeans! Though to be fair, she works out more than I do now. So yeah, even good genes need a little push 💪🏼**
My strong mammas just remember it took you 9 months to make that beautiful baby, give yourself at least 9 months to get back.
Also I now have immense respect for my body and what it can do, something I lacked earlier.
