Watching them take flight together! 

 
I don’t usually bring balancing poses into prenatal class, but when I do, you better believe we’re doing it with laughter, wobbles,  a whole lot of support, buoyed by trust and hanging on to our breaths .  They curse me while in the pose, (though their breath won’t allow them to curse me for too long ) but give me a smile when they land down ( always safely !!! )

It was shirsasan time at the end of every class and these bunch in their 40s and 50s would make it so much fun , they would cheer up each other , they would enjoy the morning breeze on their feet …… but silently the transformation that goes on the inside is something that’s going to cheer their lives .  As invigorating shirsasan can make you feel in the body , it can be humbling to your soul , modest for your understanding of life , expansive for your perception of the world . Inversions are not always necessary though in your pregnancy. Simple workouts and regular fitness routines should be good for your health . Inversions will work well when you have the signs of baby exerting pressure on the pelvis , or when the baby is in breech even during the last couple of weeks, or when you have pubic pain or tailbone pain. Yoga can also bring about emotional healing. From the beginning
