![In 3 days since launching our new channel, 100,000 of you have subscribed and 1 million of you have watched our first video covering fried rice in LA. We honestly had no idea what to expect, but your overwhelming support has meant so much to us. Thank you - I don’t think I can fully express how grateful I am for all of you.
Rewind to last Thursday when we sat down to finally go live with the inaugural video. I asked Andrew and Adam if everyone was ready, and we all jokingly but also seriously said no, we would never be ready. (And by the way - I still don’t feel ready) When I clicked the “Publish” button on YouTube, my hands were shaking as I stopped myself to check all the details for the millionth time.
Since then, I’ve had the joy of reading every comment on here and on YouTube, and I’m filled with so much excitement to be creative again. I saw a lot of people saying that we are their comfort show, and truth be told - the community we have from our food shows over the years is my safe zone too. ![“Best of luck with everything in the near future and I’m sure our paths will cross very soon!” That was JP’s message to me on Twitter in 2013, the platform where we met. I was living in Ohio at the time and was contemplating the move to LA. His assuredness caught me off guard - how could he know that we’d become friends in a town as big as LA? But this conversation gave me the hope that there were good people in LA and a community for the work I wanted to do. So in 2015 when I finally made the move, I decided to reach out to my virtual friend. JP warmly welcomed me and immediately invited me to hang out with all of his friends. We clicked, sharing stories about our upbringings, our faith, and of course, our romantic interests. In May 2017, we became roommates. And to this day, JP has been there for me through all the highs and lows. He’s the guy who organizes all the get togethers, all the poker nights all the group trips and all the pickleball parties. He makes time for one-on-one dinners and never rushes the emergency phone calls. JP is the reason I know half my friends in LA.
So when JP told me about Alice, I knew she was different. He would light up and get excited for the future in ways I had never seen before. And meeting her, we all knew she was The One. JP and Alice have the witty back and forth you only see in rom coms. Alice has the character that makes JP want to mature, walk faithfully and with integrity, and take on all challenges joyfully. And sometimes when lovebirds first start dating, they fall into their own world - but Alice and JP doubled their love and warmth and share it with everyone around them. Alice perfectly balances JP, and JP perfectly balances Alice. Alice — as you transition your life and family to LA, I hope we can welcome you into LA as warmly as JP welcomed me.

![It’s happening… we’re getting married (again!) As some of you know, we officially got married by a cat lady at Laguna Hills City Hall with just our parents as witnesses. (It was around Halloween, so our marriage clerk literally dressed up as a cat.)
We’re so excited to finally celebrate our marriage with more of our loved ones over delicious food, drinks and dancing.
