What if AI is the last invention we ever make?

Only a few people have thought about this more deeply than today’s guest.

It’s a question that I’m sure has crossed a lot of our minds. It does make you wonder, can we actually do something about it?

Dr Roman Yampolskiy, welcome to The Diary Of A CEO.

Dr Roman is one of the world’s leading experts on AI safety who has spent decades warning that AI could surpass human intelligence, and once it does, we may lose control forever…

We cover:

- Can AI really take 99% of our jobs by 2030?
- Why AI might be impossible to control?
- Are we already living in a simulation?
- Why AI could trigger a global arms race in our lifetime…?
- What happens if AI becomes smarter than us?

Every time I talk about AI, I leave with more questions than answers. Normally once I reach certainty on a subject, I move on, but with AI, there are no clear answers.

I think AI and AI agents is the most disruptive technology of our lifetime, and that’s why I care so much about having discussions like this.

This conversation was remarkably eye-opening, and Dr Roman even convinced me further that we might be living in a simulation.

Comment “Alan” and I’ll personally DM you the full conversation.

What actually happens to your body when you fast?

I recently sat down with fasting expert Dr Alan Goldhamer who has spent decades showing people about what he believes are the true benefits of fasting.

Dr Alan runs the world’s largest clinic for water-only fasting, where thousands of people have come to him when nothing else worked for problems like diabetes, blood pressure, and even the gut.

He has been getting his patients to rethink what they thought they knew about their health, from our diet to lifestyle to our sleep.

We cover:

- Could fasting succeed where medicine fails?
- Have we been lied to about salt and sugar?
- Can fasting strip away the dangerous fat around your organs?
- How does your gut microbiome affect depression, anxiety, and cancer?

This conversation showed me that fasting is really about discipline. We live in a world built to tempt us with short-term pleasure from so many distractions, but improved health comes from choosing delayed gratification.

Dr Alan brought me through a framework that breaks fasting down step-by-step and makes sense of what’s really happening in our bodies…get your pens out for this one!

Sometimes the simplest things are the ones that change us the most. 2025-09-01 12:30:00 Comment “Alan.. 8,099 -76% 2,273 -59%
Have you ever wondered what the CIA doesn’t want you to know?

Comment “Spy” and I’ll personally DM you the full conversation.

Over the past year we’ve had more and more guests who have lived secret lives, the kinds of people that you guys have been constantly asking me to bring on.

These conversations always feel like stories we shouldn’t be hearing, and that’s exactly why I wanted to have another one.

He’s our third most viewed guest of all time and nearly every day, I get messages from you all to hear more of his rare perspectives on being undercover.

Andrew Bustamante, welcome back on The Diary Of A CEO.

I wanted this conversation to be different, so this time everydayspy isn’t alone.

He’s joined by his wife Jihi, who is also a former CIA officer just as fascinating as he is.

For the first time, they both share stories that have never been told publicly before…

Andrew spent years undercover as a CIA field operative, while Jihi was a CIA targeter, the person who builds the intelligence packages that decide who gets captured or taken care of.

We cover:

- What it’s really like to be recruited into the CIA…
- How spies earn the trust of people who shouldn’t trust them.
- Can you use interrogation techniques against your interrogators?
- How you can manage mental clutter the same way CIA officers are trained to!
- What actually happens when powerful people want secrets buried?

He shares the story of a mission where he realised his cover had been blown, and why he felt he was a bad spy after that happened…

Together, they’ve seen and done things most people will never experience.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be a CIA spy, this episode is for you. 2025-08-28 12:30:00 .. 6,979 -79% 1,387 -75%

What if everything you thought you knew about diet and fitness was wrong?

For over three decades, someone has been challenging those myths with hard science.

Alan Aragon, welcome to The Diary Of A CEO.

Through his research and teaching, Alan has helped athletes, coaches, and individuals cut through the confusion around health and fitness.

We cover:

- Are popular diet trends keeping you unhealthy?
- Do “fasting” and “keto” really work?
- Why do so many people still believe in fitness myths?
- The science of sustainable fat loss.
- How to build habits that last a lifetime.

Beyond all the science, Alan shared how hitting rock bottom pushed him to completely change the way he looked at his health and his life.

It’s a reminder that real change doesn’t come from hacks or shortcuts.

It comes when you finally decide your health has to be your number one priority.

If you’ve ever struggled with dieting, nutrition, or knowing what to believe, this episode will give you the clarity you need.

What if the smartest way to build wealth wasn’t innovation… but imitation?

That’s exactly what today’s guest used to build a billion-dollar fortune.

Comment ‘Billion’ and I’ll personally DM you the full conversation.

Mohnish Pabrai, welcome to The Diary Of A CEO.

Mohnish isn’t just another investor. He manages a 10-figure hedge fund, has beaten the market for decades, and runs a nonprofit that lifts thousands of families out of poverty each year.

He’s called one of Warren Buffett’s closest disciples. And the mental models he’s developed could change the way you think about money, risk, and even your career.

We cover:

- Why entrepreneurship isn’t risky, but a 9-to-5 job is?
- Warren Buffett’s “punch card rule” that could transform your investing.
- Why cloning proven ideas beats chasing originality in business and investing.
- The hidden risks no one tells you about in investing.
- Why day traders will never make it into the Forbes 400.

What stood out to me most was how happy Mohnish is. I’ve met so many people with money, but very few with peace. He’s built billions, but he’s also built a life that he actually enjoys.

Comment ‘Brain’ and I’ll personally DM you the full conversation.

MIT conducted a study that found a 47% drop in brain activity when people used ChatGPT to write instead of doing it themselves…🤯

That’s a worrying stat, and it made me want to ask the question: what is AI really doing to our brains?

To answer that, I brought together two men at the very top of their fields: one who has dedicated his life to protecting the brain, and the other who has spent decades building the technology now shaping it.

Dr Daniel Amen & Dr Terry Sejnowski, welcome to The Diary Of A CEO.

You’ll remember Dr Daniel Amen, as this isn’t his first time on the show, who is one of the world’s leading psychiatrists and brain health experts, with over 270,000 brain scans.

Dr Terry Sejnowski is a neuroscientist and one of the fathers of deep learning, whose work laid the foundations for modern AI.

We cover:

- Can ChatGPT increase your risk of dementia?
- What does a 47% drop in brain activity really mean?
- Is convenience damaging our ability to learn?
- Are we raising the sickest generation in history?
- What are the 11 keys to a healthy brain?

What if death isn’t actually the end?

Comment ‘Signs’ and I’ll personally DM you this full conversation.

drtaraswart is one of the most popular guests we’ve ever had, joint most-viewed in The Diary Of A CEO history, and I had to bring her back. But this time, she shared something she’s never spoken about publicly before.

Dr Tara, welcome back to The Diary Of A CEO.

Dr Tara is one of the most respected neuroscientists and psychiatrists in the world. She’s brilliant at breaking down the brain in ways that make you stop and think differently about yourself.

This is a story that began when she lost her husband to leukemia, and her journey to find out if it’s possible to communicate with someone after they’ve died.

What she’s discovered has completely changed the way she sees life, death, and the limits of science.

We cover:

- Is there scientific evidence for life after death?
- How is trauma stored in the body?
- What’s the link between gut health, mental health, and wisdom?
- Can you train your brain to access hidden senses?
- What does “terminal lucidity” reveal about the mind-body connection?

When Dr Tara first came on, her insights into the brain reached 16 million of you on YouTube, and I’ve lost count of how many of you have asked me to bring her back.

This conversation is more emotional, more challenging, and it will probably make you question things you’ve never questioned before.

When you start noticing the signs around you, you feel more connected to yourself and to others.

Believing in something bigger than yourself gives you purpose, and that purpose can change the way you live.

Comment ‘Plant’ and I’ll personally DM you the full conversation.

What if the pills you take every day don’t even work?

That’s the kind of question today’s guest has been asking for decades.

He’s one of the world’s leading experts in herbal medicine, with over 40 years spent researching and teaching how plants can heal where modern medicines often fall short.

He’s advised governments, trained doctors, and led the movement to bring herbal remedies into mainstream healthcare.

Simon Mills, welcome to The Diary Of A CEO.

Simon doesn’t see herbal medicine as a replacement for conventional medicine, but as a way to fill in the gaps. He’s researched where modern treatments fall short, and how traditional remedies can work alongside them to improve health and recovery.

We cover:

- Which plants can work better than some prescription drugs?
- How is herbal medicine already being used in hospitals
- What is the connection between gut health and chronic illness?
- Why does big pharma ignore certain remedies?
- How can you safely start using plant-based treatments at home?

The more I sit with people like Simon, the more I realise how there is to learn. Every conversation like this opens up new things I didn’t even know. And that’s exciting, because it means there’s still so much to learn and so many ways to grow.

It’s a reminder that health isn’t just about what’s prescribed, but about asking better questions, staying curious, and being open to answers that might change everything. 2025-08-11 12:30:00 .. 52,612 +58% 23,037 +319%
What if everything you believed about building a successful business was wrong?

Comment ‘Debate’ and I’ll personally DM you the full conversation.

Most business advice sounds good, but doesn’t actually work.

That’s the problem. We have access to endless content and guru talk, but rarely do we get to see what real operators actually use to build. I brought together three people who have not only built multi-million dollar companies, but they’ve dissected the process so clearly that they can teach others to do it too.

hormozi, codiesanchez, and danielpriestley, welcome to The Diary Of A CEO.

This has never happened before. Three of the sharpest minds in business, one table and nothing was off limits.

We cover:

- What’s the most misunderstood game in business?
- The business frameworks that will survive the AI era.
- The business models that scale from $0 to $59M
- How do you build confidence as a founder?
- Why product pricing is your most powerful growth tool.
- How the best founders think about leverage and passive income.

These are three of the people I admire most in this space. They’re the ones I trust to guide me. Each brings a unique perspective, and getting them around one table revealed just how much overlap there is in what actually works.

If you’ve ever asked yourself why some people succeed while others just stay stuck, this episode will give you the answer.

Sometimes the thing holding you back in business is simply the way you’ve been taught to think about it.

“Everything you’re seeing right now is an illusion, it’s like living your life inside a virtual reality headset.”

These were the words from Donald Hoffman, a world-renowned cognitive psychologist who has dedicated his life to answering one of humanity’s biggest questions: What is reality, and is the world as we see it even real?

Hoffman’s groundbreaking theories challenge everything we’ve believed about perception, reality, and consciousness.

His TED Talk and work on consciousness have sparked global conversations about whether humans can ever truly understand the world we live in. He doesn’t just suggest we’re missing parts of reality, he says our brains actively hide reality from us to help us survive.

We cover:

- Why your reality is just a “headset” your brain creates?
- What ghosts and near-death experiences reveal about reality?
- Proof humans evolved to avoid seeing reality…
- Experiments showing reality isn’t what it seems?
- Are hidden dimensions right in front of us?

This conversation made me question every assumption I’ve built my life upon. It helped me realise that many of the beliefs causing our suffering might not even be true, freeing us to choose differently.

Understanding that the limitations we experience aren’t all there is creates genuine wonder, and I believe wonder is the path to a wonderful life.

“Why do people not know that a low omega-3 index is like smoking?”

Today’s guest on The Diary Of A CEO is foundmyfitness, a world-leading biomedical scientist who has dedicated her life to uncovering the truth about how to slow down aging and achieve optimal health.

Dr Rhonda speaks on longevity, nutrition, and brain health, spending decades studying how our lifestyle choices, rather than our genetics, are the biggest factor determining how quickly we age.

Her research isn’t just fascinating; it’s practical, giving people scientifically-backed strategies to truly transform their lives.

We cover:

- Why 70% of aging is down to your daily choices, not genetics?
- How to reverse your biological age by 20 years?
- The best supplements to protect your brain.
- The scientifically-proven exercise routine to slow aging?

Today’s guest believes he could be the next US president.

Comment ‘Gavin’ and I’ll personally DM you the full conversation.

Gavin Newsom, welcome to The Diary Of A CEO.

Gavin is the 40th Governor of California, leader of the world’s 4th largest economy and nearly 40 million people.

I wanted to sit down with him to delve deep into his past to find out who really is Gavin Newsom.

Gavin grew up with a single mother who he eventually lost to cancer. He struggled with dyslexia, which he describes his early challenges as his greatest gift. That adversity shaped him, driving him into entrepreneurship, leadership, and eventually politics.

I’ve watched Gavin clash publicly with Donald Trump for years, so I wanted to hear it straight. What he gave me wasn’t political spin, it was raw and unfiltered. He directly addressed Trump’s promise to expose Jeffrey Epstein’s files, flatly saying, “They lied.” But more than that, he unpacked complex issues like homelessness, housing, and mental health.

We cover:

- Why Gavin thinks American democracy is in serious danger…
- What’s really going on with young men?
- If he will be running for presidency in 2028?
- His perspective on homelessness, mental health, and housing, and why simple solutions aren’t enough.

As a podcaster, these conversations aren’t easy - they’re not the ones I enjoy having the most. But they are important as they shed light on the inner workings of the people and systems that govern us.

Have we been lied to about money all along?

Comment “Invest” and I’ll personally DM you the full conversation.

Money touches almost every part of our life and impacts so many choices from where we choose to live, what we choose to do for a living, what our weekends even look like.

And people are hungry for easy money tips that they can use but they don’t even know where to start…

Today on The Diary Of A CEO, I want to put an end to that. Please welcome, finance wiz nischa.me to the show.

Nischa spent nine years inside different investment banks, worked as a qualified accountant but she gave that life up quitting her $300,000 banking job two months before a six figure bonus so she could help people become more financially free.

Her mission is make money more accessible for the people who need it the most and over 2 million people have become part of her community since she started posting her videos.

Nischa’s intentions of why she’s doing what she’s doing is so abundantly clear. I could see that in the emotion that she showed during our chat. I could see that she really, really does care about other people.

We cover:
• The brutal truth about renting vs buying.
• The simple 65-20-15 rule that changes the way you handle money forever.
• The credit card trap that is making you poor…
• How she turned $100 into $5,000 in 90 days (without a job)!

At the start of our conversation, I asked her “If someone has just clicked on this conversation right now, what do you think they’re going to come away from this conversation with?” which she replied with “if I could say it in a sentence, they’ll come away with the money steps that they need to take to not only fast track their way to wealth, but also to use the money in their life to find a more fulfilling life” and that’s exactly what she does in this episode.

“Doing this for 15 minutes a day could change your life”

Comment ‘Sun’ and I’ll personally DM you the full conversation.

Today I sit down with someone who’s seen firsthand how simple daily choices decide who lives and who dies.

Please welcome Dr. Roger Seheult to The Diary Of A CEO.

rdseheult has dedicated his life to keeping people out of the intensive care unit. From years of treating critically ill patients, he’s distilled health down into what he calls the “Eight Pillars of Health.”

We spoke about:

- Why just 15 minutes of daily ______ could save your life?
- The hidden reasons so many of us are ageing faster.
- How sunlight dramatically improves mental health and immunity.
- The surprising truth about Vitamin D!
- Why almost everything we know about health and wellness needs rethinking.

His message is clear: your daily habits genuinely decide your fate.

What surprised me most was Roger’s clarity on how quietly neglecting these simple pillars erodes your health, causing chronic illness and premature ageing, but also how easily embracing them can prevent heart disease, dementia, diabetes, depression, and immune dysfunction.

Roger isn’t selling quick fixes; he’s sharing truths backed by hard science, and this conversation genuinely changed how I view my own health.

Please welcome, Eric Weinstein to The Diary Of A CEO.

Eric has spent most of his life inside powerful systems: academia, finance, Silicon Valley.

And what he’s learned from the inside is that something isn’t working…

ericrweinstein is a Harvard-trained mathematician and physicist who spent 30 years creating his own ‘Theory of Everything’ to challenge Albert Einstein’s physics equation and explain how the universe really works.

We spoke about:
- How modern life is just a distraction from reality?
- What he was too scared to go public about….
- Why Eric believes the apocalypse has already begun, and how we missed it?
- How AI will reshape society, and why most people are dangerously unprepared!

What I got from Eric is that he doesn’t say what’s popular but he says what he really believes - that’s not something that’s common in today’s world.

He gave me a lot of answers but he’s given me even more questions!

this will never not feel weird...😵‍💫 today I found out I’m in TIME magazine in their “TIME100 top influential voices” list... I have to say...

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from all this, it’s that embarrassment is the price of entry - and most people just aren’t willing to pay it.

they never hit record, write the post, or launch the thing… because the thought of “Dave from work” seeing it and making a snide comment is too much.

that’s so tragic to me.

how much potential are we wasting because we’re scared of what Jenny from our hometown, our mum, or - worst of all - our supposed “friends” might think?

so many people hold their potential back because they’re scared of what some half-friend on Facebook might think - someone they haven’t properly spoken to since Year 11

I don’t think anything holds us back from the life we could have lived more than the opinions of people who don’t even know us.

pressing record that first time felt cringey, awkward, and exposing - but discomfort has so often been a doorway, so I’m ok with it now. I’m okay with people thinking what they wanna think and saying what they wanna say.

at the end of the day, I’m going to die someday - and so are you.

So you might as well live.

too many people wait until they feel ready, polished, or ‘credible’ enough to start but every good thing that’s happened in my life started with me accepting that I would have to inevitably “practice in public” - be bad at something in front of the world before I’d figured it out

are you willing to practice in public?

anyway...big love to my team at FLIGHTSTORY // The Diary Of A CEO - they’re the very best in the industry - they deserve all the credit and work relentless to fight for every 1% gain we can find

in my head, this kind of recognition is usually reserved for big US Hollywood stars… not us, from a bedroom in Manchester, England

an Immense thanks to every guest who’s shared their story on my show and to everyone who’s ever tuned in on a commute, dog walk or at night time - absolutely loving chasing curiosity with you and your feedback and support has been a huge motivator through it all xxx

“Many people think we’re on the cusp of World War Three, but I believe WW3 has already begun” - Andrew Bustamante

Comment “Debate” and I’ll personally DM you the full debate.

Today’s conversation isn’t as straightforward, but it’s critically important. Conflict zones around the world have increased by 66% in just three years. Nearly half of the world’s leading strategists think nuclear weapons will be used within the decade. We’re at a tipping point, and we need to understand what’s coming next.

I’ve brought together three incredible minds, Benjamin Radd, a senior fellow at UCLA and an expert on political conflict in Iran; Annie Jacobsen, an investigative journalist specialising in U.S. national security; and Andrew Bustamante, former CIA spy and nuclear weapons expert. These guests bring firsthand experience, intelligence expertise, and decades of research to unravel the truth behind the world’s growing tensions.

I invited prof.radd, anniejacobsenbooks, and everydayspybecause when it comes to the reality of conflict and nuclear threats, they’ve been at the frontlines. Their insights don’t just theorise about war, they’ve lived it, investigated it, and seen the consequences up close. In an era of misinformation and fear, these voices provide clarity and value.

We cover:

- Why World War 3 may have already started, without us realising?
- How _____ could trigger global war without firing a single shot…
- How misinformation and AI are becoming more powerful than armies.
- Why we are just one miscommunication away from nuclear disaster!
- The dangerous isolation of global leaders from reality, and why it matters.

With all the chaos unfolding around the globe, this is the conversation you cannot afford to miss. The potential consequences are not distant hypotheticals, they’re real.

“We are witnessing a mass extinction event of young men”

Comment “doctor” and I’ll personally DM you the full conversation.

Please join me in welcoming for the third time, Dr K (Dr. Alok Kanojia), addiction expert, and a Harvard-trained psychiatrist to The Diary Of A CEO.

Known to millions through his work on Twitch (a.k.a healthygamer_gg), Dr K is transforming the way we talk about addiction, loneliness, and the struggles facing young people today.

I’ve had countless conversations about addiction, but this one is different.

He believes we’re currently experiencing a silent crisis, a mass extinction event of young men who will never form relationships, families, or truly thrive in society.

We cover:

- Why porn addiction has become a global epidemic.
- Exactly what pornography does to your brain and why it’s hard to stop.
- The hidden cause behind all addictions nobody talks about.
- Why young men and women are drifting apart more than ever.
- The real reason so many men today feel lost and resentful.

This conversation gave a different lens to view mental health and addiction, one that doesn’t just focus on the individual, but also on society’s role in creating these problems.

If you’re struggling with loneliness, addiction, or simply feel trapped by your own mind, this is one you don’t want to miss.

Are we being lied to about monogamy?

Comment “Love” and I’ll personally DM you this full conversation.

For two decades, she’s unravelled why humans fall in love, cheat, and obsess, revealing truths that many of us would rather ignore.

And now, she’s here to give you the tools to better navigate your relationships.

Please join me in welcoming Dr Anna Machin to The Diary Of A CEO, an evolutionary anthropologist at Oxford University and one of the world’s leading experts on the science of love.

Anna doesn’t romanticise love, she dissects it, explaining why your brain treats love like an addictive drug, and why true monogamy is far from natural.

This conversation isn’t just fascinating, it’s essential.

We cover:

- Why monogamy isn’t biologically natural.
- The real reason breakups feel physically painful.
- What actually happens inside your brain when you fall in love.
- The surprising evolutionary reason we find it so difficult to stay faithful.
- Why online dating might be destroying your chances of finding real connection.
- The science backed secret to becoming instantly more attractive.

Understanding love isn’t removing its magic, it’s making sense of the mystery. If you’ve ever loved, lost, or struggled to find real connection, you must listen to this.

Speaking to Dr Anna really opened my eyes in a bunch of profound ways, both on the subject of love, but also on the importance of fatherhood.

Yesterday, it would have been Princess Diana’s 64th birthday. Prince William spent the day in Sheffield with myself and Gordon Brown fighting to end homelessness – a cause deeply close to his late mother’s heart.

Its mission: to show that homelessness can be ended – not just managed.

Prince William and I first travelled to Bournemouth to spend time with local leaders.

We then travelled to Aberdeen to bring together the business community and meet charity leaders and young people at risk of homelessness.

And yesterday, we travelled to Sheffield – bringing together local leaders, frontline workers, business leaders, charities and young people with lived experience to reflect on the progress so far… and, more importantly, to ask: how do we scale this?

My role has been to serve as an ambassador for the project – representing the business community and exploring how private sector thinking, talent and investment can support systemic social change.

People often ask me: What is Prince William like? What’s he like to work with?

Over the last two years, I’ve spent time with him in both public and private settings – and I have to say, I have the utmost respect for him.

He carries an incredible weight of responsibility and does it with class, humility, patience and humanity.

I see how he interacts with everyone – how deeply he listens and how gracious he is.

And he works so hard. I remarked recently that he works like he’s running out of time.

He truly reminds me of everything people say about Princess Diana – a big heart, big ambitions, and a remarkable way with people.

I’m honoured to help him in any way I can to achieve some of those big goals.

On a personal note, my Nigerian mother and British father were lifelong fans of both Diana and the royal family – so they’re in proud disbelief that I’ve been able to play a small part in this mission!

But… the hard work is only just beginning! 2025-07-02 16:27:20 .. 0 -100% 338 -94%

Many of you know him as Mr Wonderful, but today we get to meet the real man behind some of Shark Tanks best investments.

Please join me in welcoming kevinolearytv to The Diary Of A CEO.

Kevin built a software company from his basement into a billion dollar empire, then became one of the most outspoken and brutally honest investors on television. He’s spent decades cutting through the noise about wealth, business, and relationships.

WE COVER:

- Why most people stay broke?
- Why only ___ of people are cut out for entrepreneurship…
- Kevin’s top lessons learned from working with Steve Jobs.
- Why most relationships can’t survive financial stress?
- What every young person should do with their first pay cheque to have $1.5M dollars!
- The one financial rule Kevin taught his own children.

Kevin’s approach can feel harsh at first, but after this conversation, I realised it comes from deep honesty and genuine care. He’s not selling dreams, he’s revealing truths about money most people are afraid to face.

I would get your notepad out for this one, Kevin didn’t hold back!

The UFC doesn’t want you to know this…

But, today’s guest on The Diary Of A CEO is going to tell you.

I’m honoured to sit down with the current UFC Heavyweight Champion tomaspinallofficial

Tom holds the record for the shortest average fight time in UFC history but what surprised me most wasn’t how hard he hits, it’s how open he was about what really hurts him.

He wants the world to know that UFC is not about anger or ego. It’s about discipline, family, and finding your peace in the chaos.

Tom doesn’t want to be remembered just as a fighter, he wants to be remembered as a good dad and a good man. And after today, I believe he will be.

We cover:

- The real reason men are giving up and how MMA gave him purpose.
- Who his next opponent is?!
- Being a parent of an autistic child and the importance of Autism diagnosis.
- How fear is his secret weapon.
- Why __ wasn’t living like an athlete!
- His opinion on whether Jon Jones retired to avoid fighting him…

Tom, you’re such an inspiration for so many reasons. And to top it all off, you’re remarkably down to earth and this conversation will show everyone that side of you.

I admire how you use your platform to change public perceptions of the sport. Most people consider it to be a dangerous sport pursued by aggressive personalities - which it’s not.

Most of us are trying to outrun something. A thought, a memory, a fear.

Today, I sit down with gelongthubten , a Buddhist monk and meditation teacher who has spent decades doing the exact opposite turning toward the pain instead of away from it.

But his story begins in a very different place. He dealt with burnout, addiction, and a near-death experience at 21 that forced him to walk away from a fast-paced life in New York and into a monastery in Scotland.

Thubten lived in a meditation retreat for over 6 years including a 4-year stretch where he meditated up to 16 hours a day.

Now, he is one of the UK’s most influential meditation teachers who helps Hollywood stars, CEOs, and corporations stay in control within a world overloaded with stress, addiction, anxiety, and burnout.

We spoke about:

- The big lie you’ve been sold about meditation.
- his daily habit is secretly destroying your mental health
- The dangers of technology and chasing happiness.
- How to overcome grief, fear and loneliness?
- Why most of us are addicted to our own thoughts and don’t even know it?

I’m so glad that people like Thubten do podcasts like this and want to get their message out there into the world!

Thubten told me something I can’t stop thinking about:

“What we’re really looking for… is the absence of wanting.”

If you’ve ever felt like you’ve achieved the thing you wanted and still felt empty, this conversation is for you.

Comment ‘Debate’ and I’ll personally DM you the full conversation.

This is the debate like we’ve never done before.

Today on The Diary of a CEO, we wanted to step back from the noise and have a real conversation about a subject that touches everyone in some way.

We organised this conversation to discuss how the sexual revolution changed the lives of  women, the direction of feminism and women’s rights in today’s society.

And what better way to do that than by getting three leading voices on this topic in a room together: dfdubz, Louise Perry and ericakomisar

Louise believes the sexual revolution failed women because it encouraged casual sex and porn, and that women should choose marriage and motherhood over their careers.

Deborah believes the sexual revolution gave women freedom and personal autonomy, and that women should have the choice to decide what they want when it comes to career, motherhood, and marriage.

And Erica believes the revolution granted women freedom and autonomy, but in recent years has caused women to prioritise their careers over motherhood, which is harming children’s mental health.

Three very different visions of what feminism should be so here we go!

We discussed:

- Why motherhood and caregiving deserve more cultural respect.
- What casual sex is really doing to women…
- How are men being shaped by a version of feminism they don’t understand?
- The value of having real choice and how feminism helped create it.

This is a very long conversation, but it’s exactly what I was hoping it would be. I found my opinion shifting and changing throughout, so that’s success for me.

It’s not a straightforward conversation. You might not agree with everything that’s said but I guarantee it will challenge you and you’ll leave thinking differently.
