One of the best feelings as a photographer in Los Angeles is when someone makes your photo their profile picture. It’s a sign that the image truly represents them, and as a photographer, this means everything. I started shooting headshots for clients in the barbershop years ago, and that love for capturing people has grown into creating portraits for so many talented artists, creators, and entrepreneurs in this space. There’s just something about taking photos that I really enjoy. You’re capturing a moment in time that can’t be recreated and it’s like freezing an expression, a feeling, a piece of someone’s story. Three back-to-back rotations with 28–35 students each to keep it as intimate as possible. We broke down where their content currently lives, the message it’s sending, and how to make it work harder and read clearer. I might’ve forgotten how bad the little ones sting πŸ’‰πŸ«  I’ve always loved tattoos even before I started getting them. But I didn’t fully commit until I knew barbering was something I would do for a long time.
