An all-new themilkmancoffee We were super excited to check out the newly opened Milkman coffee shop. Located at the top of Cockburn Street just a few minutes walk from the original that still sits at the bottom of the bank. The all-new shop has a lot of the same features including the most amazing window seat! Of course, the coffee was beautiful as you would expect from themilkmancoffee . Hopping off the train and out of Waverley, heading down towards the Arches where one of our favourites uses to be, Baba Budan. roomandrumourscoffee is one of the new coffee shops Edinburgh has to offer, taking over the old shop from Baba Bundan but giving it their style, this place looks amazing. One of my favourite coffee-related stories has to be about this place we randomly found while been happily lost in Japan. While on holiday in Tokyo we decided to go find the cherry blossom, on a walk from the underground to find these we got very lost! Now I mean to be lost in Japan is never a bad thing and it paid off for us big time, we turned down what looked like a regular housing estate and wow the air was filled with the aroma of the most amazing strong thing... coffee! We walked down the street and could see the front of what looked like a coffee shop. We were beyond excited and couldn’t believe our luck, It was super quiet and we were starting to lose the light so of course, we had to go in. This tiny little almost converted house was unreal, beautiful and delicious. We ordered our coffees and bought some mementoes. After we enjoyed this amazing little place and the sheer luck of finding this beautiful coffee shop in the middle of nowhere we went on and found the elusive cherry blossom. About a week after we got home we decided to go to York for the day and as usual, we hit most of our favourite coffee shops, we went into springespresso and picked up a caffeinemag well we were enjoying what was an amazing pair of flat whites and then we flip onto an article and Japan, not sure if it was pure coincidence or something more but that small converted house in the middle of absolutely nowhere coffee shop was there on the page in front of us! Here is a throwback to our mini-break in Milan, while visiting all the sights we made sure to seek out the best coffee stops. orsonerocoffee was one of the places, an exceptional coffee stop that we not only visited once but multiple times during our time in Milan. Fortitude Coffee Edinburgh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 fortitudecoffee is one of the top coffee houses in Scotland and possibly the UK. While producing there own extremely high quality roasted beans they serve up all that and more in their cups, you will find fortitudecoffee a couple of streets behind the famous Princes Street. Not only does fortitude serve up some of the best coffee but by no means does it end there by the same standards their hot chocolate is a show stopper... It's amazing and one of the best we've ever had. Served with a giant homemade marshmallow in the middle of a cup and the hot chocolate on the side waiting for you to pour-over. Amazing!
