![Chessie went to see Mumsie Ellen for a check up. This morning when I expressed her, her urine was pink tinged and I was not about to deal with that😂 So off we went for a check up. It seems as though a UTI is starting so she was started on VeraFlox for the next 7 days. ![This sweet face❤️ Little does she know that in an hour, I will be peeing her on camera😂 Lately we have gotten an increased number of calls asking us to take paralyzed kittens/cats and we have had to say no. Is it because we don’t want them? No, it is just Ellen and I fostering and I am the one that takes the paralyzed babies. I currently have 4 paralyzed cats in my house right now and it is chaotic to put it mildly. It fucking breaks my heart to say no when we are asked because my heart wants to save every single one. What I can do to help, is to provide tutorials on how to express bladders or use diapers. Am I an expert? Nope, I have no formal training but when you are thrown in the trenches to help a sweet baby, you figure things out quickly. Every paralyzed kitten is different…some need expressed, some need diapers, some have skin care needs whether it is a sore butt or leg wounds from dragging. I basically have a Mary Poppins bag of tips and tricks that I have used, some work, some don’t but being able to help someone with their cat, heals my heart just a little #DangleGang #ItTakesAVillage #paralyzedcatsofinstagram #Chessie]()

![Happy 6th Birthday to my Egg❤️ He is the bestest boy, my best friend and soul cat. He instinctively knows when I need a little extra love and despite his perpetual bitch face, he is the sweetest and most gentle loving boy. He has ‘fostered’ every kitten that has been in my house since 10/2021 (when he came to live with me) including Tilly the puppy. He has shown them love, taught them to cuddle and play and even let most of them ‘nurse’ on him😂 Today, we are gonna do all the things…Starbucks, Nuggies and a birthday party later with cake. ![This little Dustmop cleaned all my wood floors today😂 Chessie is still looking for her forever family. ![Kitten update: we went to see Mumsie Ellen for eyeball checks and 1st vaccine doses. They all had to get baths this morning as nobody knows how to correctly eat from the food bowl….Piddles always has her front feet in the food, YoYo has a face full of food and Hoops always has food on his back (how idk🤷♀️) Even though their eyes are still kinda gross…they are sooooo much better than when we got them AND they may not need enuculations. They got all the loves from Ellen, Dr Richardson and the Starbucks employees who gave them their first pup cup.
