Couldn’t do this without her💕

16 Days Postpartum and I get it now….

1. Mental wellness
• Morning journal prompts: three lines of gratitude, one clear intention for the day
• Daily affirmations in the mirror: reminding myself my body is strong and my baby is safe
• Monthly sessions with my therapist to process this life shift and keep my mental health well.
• I shut off social-media notifications to protect my focus, rest, and mood

2. Physical activity
• Strength circuits (squats, hip thrusts, banded rows) three days a week
• Daily 10-minute mobility flow: cat–cows, 90/90 hip switches, thoracic openers
• Park & neighborhood walks for steady-state cardio and circulation
• Pelvic-floor engagement drills and regular chiropractic adjustments to keep everything aligned

3. Nutrition
• 80/20 balance: protein-forward plates (salmon, chicken, lean meat) with room for the foods I love
• Color on every meal—dark leafy greens, berries, roasted veggies for micronutrient density
• Hydration goal: 1/2 or 1 gallon of water or water-plus-electrolytes, especially on lift days
