Tbh I feel like no Japanese serum has wowed ‼️ me the way western or Korean serums have, idk, they are just kinda plain. Value for money, but that’s about it. 😅 Never quite the texture I like or the functions I want. Until I tried this new launch from Kansosan in Japan: Kansosan Medical Moisture AQ Brightening Essence. Besides the awesome texture, the key is the 4 ingredients it has: Tranexamic Acid - Helps fade dark spots and even out skin tone by blocking melanin production. Also soothes redness and inflammation. Arbutin - A gentle brightener that reduces pigmentation and prevents new dark spots from forming. L-Ascorbic Acid 2-Glucoside (AA2G) – Super gentle and stablw vitamin C derivative that brightens dull skin, boosts radiance, and supports collagen for smoother texture Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate – Derived from licorice root; calms irritation, hydrates, and helps the skin barrier stay balanced and soothed. 〰️ This combo is SO GOOD for uneven tone and dullness (Tranexamic Acid + Arbutin + AA2G) while keeping skin calm, soft, and hydrated (Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate)!!! 🤩 And I think I got it for like ¥2640 or something only which is such a steal for 4 ACTIVES??? lol ok I know you are all cheapos like me! and what many people dont realise is that Amazon Japan has some pretty damn good deals! 🤭🤭 here’s how to save extra, even without the tax free — just by ordering on Amazon. Some deals are pretty insane like my NB 530 that I scored at only ¥7,000 (it’s still ¥11,800 AFTER tax free from ABC Mart). Propaganda I will be falling for: the canmaketokyo Cream Cheek is the best Japanese blush out there. 🤠 For a humble price of ¥638, it gives the most natural finish. Here I’m using CL01 which is a special clear type (arguably the most popular version for its shine and subtle colour), but the regular versions have amazing colour pay-off and I like how it’s ‘wet’ and ‘cream’ (personally not a big fan of powder blushes, give me wet blush any day). Never stepped into Sephora again after I started using Japanese makeup, and when it comes to Japanese lippies, these are supreme. latest obsession is the ishizawalab Shigaisen Yohou Cool Popping UV Gel!!!! if you prefer more matte lips, opera_cosmetics does a pretty mean matte lipstick too! I just bought it in the same-ish shade as my Lip Tint and it’s definitely more pigmented and has that effortless sexy blur finish. sekkiseiblue_official JUST launched this NEW Breathing Glow Foundation and it is BEAUTIFUL!!!! That finish!!!! Oooooof to die for. 🥰🥰 Many of you ask for foundation recommendations but it’s really difficult because most of the time, Japanese foundations are very pale and don’t cater to a lot of skin tones 😭 The soft lit glow is amazing thanks to the formula which is 90% serum + grape water for that hydrated, juicy kiss of life!!!!
