Heard this before?
It’s a lie.
And it’s the excuse I hear again and again for why people don’t start.
Somehow this myth has become the standard reason to never even try.
But in reality, only 20% fail in the first year and 60% fail by year three.
Which means 40% succeed.
And I’m part of the 20% that failed.
Yep. My first business failed.
So should I have never started?
Should I have given up and got a “safe job”?
HELL no.
The business that failed taught me more than any of the businesses that succeeded.
And without that failure, I never would have succeeded on the next.
100% of people who learn from failure and go again… succeed.
Despite what school teaches you…
Failure isn’t the opposite of success.
These false stats are designed to keep you small, trapped, obedient.
So ignore them.

![I’m very critical of the education system.
But I need to make this ABSOLUTELY clear.
The education system may be BROKEN…
But teachers are AMAZING.
This maths teacher, Alejandro Navarro, was admitted to the hospital with a serious health crisis.
Sadly, he didn’t make it… but in his last few hours, he made sure every student’s work was graded.
He wasn’t forced to do this. He didn’t need to do this.
He did it because he cared.
Educators often give EVERYTHING, even when their own lives are on the line, because they have a purpose...
Something bigger than themselves that makes it worth it.
A day later, Alejandro passed away. But look at the lesson he left us:
He loved what he did. He had a purpose.
And not even death could stop him from living it.
So while I’ll continue to criticise and push to change the system…

“The land of opportunity.”
But after a few days here asking people about their dream…
I’m honestly shocked.
Everyone is just coasting by!
They’re not miserable… but they’re certainly not happy.
As long as the rent is paid and there’s a drink on Friday, it’s “fine.”
And the saddest part is that it’s mostly people in their 20s.
They don’t realise they’ll never have more time and energy than they do right now.
They have the biggest opportunity to create a life they love.
But they just don’t see it.
They’re trading the rest of their life for “fine.”
I’ve been fighting to fix the education system in the UK.
But the US needs it just as much.
It’s clear to me now. This isn’t just a UK problem. It’s global.
And the longer we accept “fine”…

And it made me think…
The royal family never chose their job.
