When we put these new fabrics for the Darcy and the Enola together, I knew I had to create a little creative film to capture them! All of these dresses were inspired by my favorite period dramas and were created to make you feel like the heroine of a story and for me in this particular case – like the detective of my own story! At least aesthetically because I may not have the best characteristics for actually being one and I prefer reading from my comfort place 🤭🤎 Could you see yourself being a detective?

We greeted this new month with some time in nature and got treated with the most beautiful golden hour moment. We stood there for a while just observing the magic of the light and the insects dancing around like little fairies. I took these photos already a month ago after finding this cute polo style shirt very unexpectedly at H&M. Shirts like this have been a thing since the late 19th century and stayed a timeless staple item ever since (swipe left for some vintage inspiration). ![We took these photos nearly two years ago and to this day they still remain as some of my favorites! 🤎 Jules and I were still freshly in love, getting to know eachother and living in our little safe bubble. Since then we experienced so much and of course some things have changed. Change is often considered as something bad but if I learned one thing, than that in order to stay close and healthy in a relationship you have to be open for change and growth. ![The grand final of Downton Abbey is coming out tomorrow and I couldn't resist to create some inspired outfits for you 🥹🤎
As we're now going into the 1930s, I of course had to include this decade as well even though we haven't seen all of the looks yet (which I'm VERY excited about btw)! I think I don't need to say that their costume designs have always been the absolute best and especially their use of authentic vintage pieces. I didn't have any myself, but I tried my best to capture the essence with what I had! Especially the 1920s were hard because it's not my usual style but it was fun 🤭
