Berlin Marathon 🇩🇪

That was mental, the heat wiped me out and my legs just went completely 

But look, if missing a marathon time is the worst of my problems, life’s not so bad 

Grateful to be in the health to complete a marathon and have learnt a lot about myself in the process 

Thanks to runningfox26.2 for taking me under his wing for this one, he took me from a non runner to running a sub 1:40 half and completing a marathon. The time isn’t a reflection of the shape he got me in but sometimes this is the way it goes on the day 

I’m going to take a break from these crazy miles for the next while and put my main focus back on creating content and enjoying life 

We also raised over £5000 for alzheimersresearchuk and we are going to match every penny donated through gleanapp 

So that’s over £10,000 raised for Alzheimer’s, I have no doubt Pa Pa is looking down on me a proud man today 

Please God we find a cure soon so in the years to come no one has to experience someone they love going through that awful disease

The Big Dip 😅

Usually I’m not a fan of these videos 

“For this amount of calories you could have this instead”

Because usually it’s with normal foods that you lost certainly can just eat and fit in 

However I wanted to show this comparison for the garlic and herb dip because it’s mental 

For an average person you literally couldn’t have one of these dips along side your pizza every single week and expect to make progress 

Something has to give at the weekends to achieve your goals 

You can most certainly still eat take out, have a few beer and even use high calorie dips

How to use sugar to benefit performance 👨‍🏫

Fat, protein and carbohydrates all have important functions

Dear thebodycoach this is not a call out.

I actually really respect what you have done and as a whole think that your impact on the industry is net positive 

However I would ask that you consider my opinion on your language used and how documenting your sugar free journey could be harmful 

Firstly saying “relapse” is an awful choice of words, this is usually associated with addicts and a relapse is an extremely damaging life event 

By completely eliminating sugar from your diet you are clearly building up large cravings then unable to control yourself when you’re around it 

This is a disordered eating behaviour and something that I don’t think should be set as a standard by a leader in the industry 

I also think that as an active person you should be aware of how to use sugar to fuel your performance and actually make you feel better 

I’m currently training for a marathon and use sugar on a daily basis to fuel my runs and make sure I perform at the highest level 

Finally, there’s a huge increase in eating disorders and people with crippling fear around food 

I think as industry leaders we should be encouraging moderation and balance instead of these all or nothing behaviours

We both agree that the majority of our diet should be whole, unprocessed and nutrient dense 

But let’s not pretend like a bit of sugar here or there is the end of the world 

It’s a bit silly

Urr Fried Wraps Meal Prep 🌯

These taste 10/10 and they’re so handy if you’re super busy and want some quick and easy to grab and stick in air fryer for lunch

This makes 5 👇

- 5 tortilla wraps 
- 400G pre cooked chicken breast 
- 100G light cheese 
- 100G lightest mayo 
- load of tomato’s 
- chopped red bell pepper 
- 1/4 pack fajita seasoning 

Each wraps has;
- 400 Calories 
- 35G Protein 

Storage Instructions 

If you refrigerate these they will keep for 3-4 days and this is the handiest way to have them as you can take them out and just bang straight into air fryer at 200°C for 6-7 mins 

However these can also be frozen if you want to make a few weeks worth in one go 

When freezing I’ve found to get them to cook well you need to air fry at 170°C for 10 mins with the foil on 

The take foil off spray with some oil and air fry at 200°C for further 12-15 mins 

This is to make sure the inside cooks right through without over cooking the outside 

But see to be honest, when you freeze them it’s just a bit of hassle and takes f*cking ages, you’d be better off just making a fresh one lol 

So I’d recommend only prepping how much you’ll eat for 3-4 days at a time as this is handiest 🤝

Always surreal taking the family away ❤️

Since starting the businesses and achieving some degree of success, I’ve always made it a priority to give back to those closest to me 

Each year I’ll bring the family away and it’s one of only a handful of times each year we are all together 

With my sisters living out and day to day life always being busy, it’s nice to have some time just to be still and take a break from the usual chaos 

I remember when I was younger, I used to dread going on family holidays, I always wanted to back back home with my friends so I wasn’t missing out on drinking or nights out 

But now, this is my favourite week of the year every time 

It’s easy to get caught up in what’s next with business or life in general 

But I always reflect on this week and just think how grateful I am to be able to do this and spend time with the people that put me in the position I’m in today 

Tomorrow it’s back to porridge, so I’m going to enjoy my last day here
