🚊 About 1 hr 40 mins from London Victoria. 🥾 The route is around 15 km. I hiked it in the opposite direction so I could finish in Folkestone. 🆙 Be ready for some uphill walking. The hardest part was right at the beginning, but the views make it totally worth it. ☀️ I had perfect weather — warm enough to sweat, but not too hot. I honestly wouldn’t have done it in the heat. ☕️ There’s a café about halfway through, but it was super busy. Even a panini had a 40-minute wait! We ended up grabbing beers and eating the snacks we brought — so definitely come prepared. 🚊 1 hr 10 mins from London Victoria. 🥾 The route is around 13 km. I hiked it in the opposite direction to finish in Brighton. Once I reached Whitehawk Hill, instead of turning left, I went straight down to the seaside. 🌊 🍻 Ended up at the beach and got some well deserved fish and chips with beer. Come with me on a hike close to London! 🚊 Start at Tring Station (40 mins from Euston). 🌿 The full route is 16.9 km, but I started at a café (20 mins from the station) and ended at a pub—just under 4 hours total. 🗺️ We did the hike in reverse and detoured to town for a pub stop since there’s nothing near the station. I actually preferred it! 🍻 Ended at The Greyhound (15 mins from the station)—great food and cider! 🚰 If you do it in reverse, toilets are only at the café near the start. ⛰️ Some uphill towards the end—be ready! ⚠️ Super muddy this time of year, so wear proper hiking shoes! The city of love ❤️ Every time I go to Paris I discover something new 😍 My recommendations from this time: 🥐 Go to Mamiche for bakery. My 4th time in Paris, and I love it even more each time 🥹❤️ Here are some recommendations based on my experience: 🎫 If you’re traveling with Eurostar and need to use the metro to reach your accommodation, purchase a single ticket from the train at the café. It will save you a lot of time as the queue at Gare du Nord is very long. 🥩 🍝 I absolutely loved the food at Poulette and Pink Mamma. Make sure to book beforehand as both places were very busy. ☕️ I tried the famous hot chocolate at Angelina and Carette. I preferred Carette; it was simply amazing. However, if you go to Angelina, make sure to try their Mont-Blanc—it’s yummy 😋 🎶 You have to visit the Opera de Paris. Buy tickets online to skip the queue. 🤍 Visit Versailles Palace if you have time. It’s amazing. Remember to buy a separate ticket from the machines.
