![Yesterday marked a major milestone for Glow Recipe and for me personally: christine_glow and I were the recipients of the cewinsider Achievers Award for 2024. I’m still pinching myself (!) - I’ve been attending this amazing event since my L’Oreal days, celebrating inspiring female executives who I looked up to. 10 years ago, I could not have imagined standing on this stage in a room full of 1000+ beauty executives, giving a speech alongside my wonderful cofounder. I feel immense pride that as two female cofounders, we were able to build and grow our team, our community, and our business, and feel so fortunate to be able to celebrate with this amazing moment. Entrepreneurship is never easy, but when you have a support system of friends, family, and an incredible network of fellow female professionals you can rely on and who are rooting for you, it really makes the journey a beautiful one ❤️

![Screaming with excitement seeing our Dew You Anonymous casting campaign IRL in Miami! This was our first-ever bus wrap and seeing the beautiful faces of our models with the Glow Recipe pink background gave me all the chills. Really wish I was able to celebrate our Times Square billboard moment with the Glow team. I did get to gasp and jump on the bus together with my parents who are visiting Miami from Seoul, South Korea (last two slides) 🥰🇰🇷
Glow Recipe has always been passionate about uplifting and celebrating our diverse community. This year, we wanted to take that a step further and make members of our community the stars of our biggest campaign yet. We kept the entire process, from casting to interviews, absolutely anonymous - no faces and no names. We wanted to get to know our models from their life stories and their passions. We truly believe everyone should be able to see themselves in a major beauty campaign, and as a brand, we felt that by focusing on what was on the inside, we would be able to amplify real representation and challenge traditional beauty standards.
Our team combed through thousands of applications that included beautiful stories of skin and life journeys, and we were so grateful to have worked with our Diversity Advisory Board who helped select the final models.
There were a lot of wonderful emotions involved when announcing the final 10 models (I had to cover my webcam multiple times to wipe away tears) and we still internally share with each other just how rewarding and meaningful this initiative was. We’ve never invested to this level for out of home ads but are so glad we found this moment to do so because each of these 10 beautiful souls who are glowing from the inside out need to shine everywhere.
