![The rest of the story … 3 of our flights to Denver were canceled, and once we were up in the air on our 4th flight, we had to make an emergency return to Tampa because a door was loose and causing depressurization issues on the plane. We spent all Christmas Day in the airport, and had Christmas dinner in a hotel 😂. And one of our bags didn’t make it to Denver 😫. But it was definitely worth it ❤️

![Selling Tampa was the opportunity of a lifetime which allowed me to further evolve as an entrepreneurial Black woman in this world of real estate. At the end of the day, all of business revolves around profitability and the buzz consumers create around a product. I am proud of having been a part of Selling Tampa and it certainly made a splash; but Netflix was always open with the series performance and stats on its streaming platform. I wish that the numbers and outcome were different, I wish that a show about Black women making their way in the world of real estate held the world’s attention for longer than it did, but for whatever reason it didn’t. I look forward to future opportunities that will allow me to continue to display the beautiful world of real estate and Black women and family success in the business community.

![I have never had maternity photos taken with any of my pregnancies. With life happening and changing, working, the preparation for a new baby, and to be honest the bloating and awkwardness of my body changes 😩, there just never seemed to be a good time and it wasn’t a priority. And I started not to have them taken this time, but at the last minute (36 weeks here), I booked the photo shoot. And I’m so glad that I took the time to capture this last pregnancy.

![Throwing it way back this Thursday to 2003. This was the first house Anddrikk and I purchased - a new construction home with MI Homes (still a major new home builder here). It was in a new subdivision just outside of the county so it was more affordable for us at the time. Anddrikk was working full time and I was in law school. Relatives helped us with the down payment. The realtor we worked with was amazing. Much of how I work with buyers today I learned from having worked with her as a buyer. Sadly, she passed away from cancer a few years after she helped us buy this home. She was a true expert and loved what she did, making the buying process so enjoyable for us.
I remember the mixed feelings I initially had about finally having our own home - elated that we OWNED it, but nervous about the responsibilities. In the end, no regrets at all. And now I love to talk about home ownership. #tbt]()

![Apps have become a HUGE part of my day-to-day, but I still use a paper planner (😬). Below are my 10 go-to tools and apps that I currently use (most on a daily basis) as a real estate agent/entrepreneur. ❗️I’m looking for suggestions for a new CRM (see below) if you have any❗️
~ Concept Planner by Poketo (paper). I have tried a ton of different planners (Franklin Covey, daytimer, TUL, digital, etc) but have been using the Concept Planner for a while now and love it. I use it every day.
~ iCal (Apple iphone calendar app). It’s simple and easy to use. I plan my whole day here, as I make sure to build in some wiggle room. It goes from the planner to the calendar. If it’s not on the calendar, it usually doesn’t get done.
~ Reminders App. This is where is keep my long and short term must do, need, and want lists.
~ Calm App. I start my day with meditation.
~ OneDrive - Microsoft Office 365 (software and mobile app on my phone for easy access). For document storage and access.
~ ShareDrive - Microsoft Office 365 (software and mobile app on my phone for easy access). For project management involving multiple people and sharing docs/projects with my team.
~ MLS Touch (software with mobile app my the phone). Our local multiple listing service where I access homes on the market and real estate statistics.
~ ScannerPro App. For when I need to scan and file/email documents on the go or quickly.
~ Brokermint. The brokerage’s document retention and e-signing system. Also included with this system is the timeline and checklist created for each client transaction (inspection periods, deadlines, etc).
~ Client Relationship Management software (CRM). This is where I store all of my client info and create communications for clients. Until this month, I used IXACT, but I am actively looking for a new one.
