- Somewhere along the Turkish coast, tucked between pine forests and the sea, a space to be still again. No roads, no rush, just the sound of water and cicadas, the warmth of the sun, and the quiet permission to do absolutely nothing 🌞 This is yazzcollective, a luxury hotel in Türkiye only accessible by boat. Morning swims, barefoot lunches, and books to be read in the shade 🌊 This little eco hotel is tucked away in a hidden cove near Fethiye, and the perfect reminder that the best kind of connection doesn’t need WiFi. This corner of Türkiye has been aptly named the Turquoise Coast, and how I wish I could be back in the sea again, floating without a care in the world 🤍
- The sweetest fairytale village in England! Save my mini guide on exactly how to visit the pretty town of Rye in East Sussex👇🏼 Located on England’s south coast, Rye is filled with cobblestone streets, crooked timber houses, and pubs that have been serving travellers for over 600 years! Rye is one of the prettiest villages in England and wandering here is like being lost in time 🚗 How to get there - By train: 1 hr 10 minutes from London St Pancras with a quick change at Ashford International - By car: Just under 2 hours from London, it’s a ox of motorways and pretty country roads 😴 Where to stay - I recommend the Mermaid Inn, it’s the oldest pub in Rye with a few ghost stories, open fires, and low wooden beams 🚶♀️ How to get around - The town is small and best explored on foot, there are plenty of car parks on the edge of town to leave your car - I advise travelling by car if you want to explore surrounding areas outside of the village 🏖️ Nearby places to visit - Camber Sands is a wide sandy beach 10 minutes away. Easily reached by car or bus - Scotney Castle is a story book castle surrounded by a moat and gardens just 40 minutes away by car - Hastings, a seaside town filled with vintage shops is 30 minutes away - Sissinghurst Gardens, best enjoyed in June and July is 35 minutes away 🌞Best time to visit - June-August for long sunny days - October-November for crisp autumn air, quieter streets, and amber foliage
- Summer days in Croatia 🌞 Just off the coast of Dubrovnik, there’s a tiny island with its own beach club, a place you can only reach by boat, where time stops the moment you step ashore. Welcome to BOWA, one of the most beautiful beach clubs in Croatia. Here, the Adriatic is incredibly blue, the the island is filled with pine trees, and lunch is whatever the fisherman catch. Tables sit on the water, shaded y huge umbrellas and private cabanas, with some of the most beautiful views in the Mediterranean. The problem? You’ll never want to leave. Between courses, you can jump in the water and swim straight from your table. 📍 Tips for visiting BOWA – Book ahead - it’s small and it fills quickly in summer – Arrive by boat from Brsečine harbor (located 22 km west of Dubrovnik), it’s €25 for a round trip – Go for lunch and stay for the whole afternoon. Go back and book a cabana, or if you are on more of a budget, pay just €90 for the day and enjoy a 3 course lunch, you still have access to the beach and sun beds! – Pack swimwear, the water is too tempting to resist – Late May to September is the sweet spot for warm seas If you’re looking for places to visit in Dubrovnik that are a bit different to its busy beaches and popular historic centre, this is it 🏖️
