Root Chakra ❤️‍🔥🪷

Mula Bandha (Sanskrit: मूल बंध) is from *Mūla*, meaning root, base, beginning, foundation, origin or cause.

There are 7 main chakras  that move through your subtle body, starting at the crown of your head and traveling down to the base of your spine. When spinning properly, each chakra allows energy to flow through the body. However, if one of these wheels is blocked, your well-being can suffer. 

The first chakra, muladhara, or “root chakra,” acts as the root of the body. It is located at the base of the spine at the perineum, between the anus and the genitals. Its location signifies its role as a link between the physical world and our internal energetic system and is often depicted by a red lotus with 4 petals.

The root chakra is associated with the following:

Our feet are the most used, and probably the least taken care of part of the body. We expect our feet to propel us through space and get us where we want to go every day of our lives. The arches of our feet are designed to provide us with flexibility, help absorb shock, distribute the weight of the body, and help us adapt to surface changes when walking, running, and climbing.
