- ✨ Let’s talk about pigment, and the ingredients that actually help fade it. ✨ This brightening mousse-to-serum brings together 10 ingredients that target unwanted pigmentation gently and effectively. Some of the stars? Let’s break them down ⬇️ 🌸 Arbutin – a natural derivative of hydroquinone that helps fade dark spots and prevent new ones from forming…without irritation. 💧 Tranexamic Acid (6%!!) – known to reduce melanin production, it’s especially helpful for stubborn discoloration and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. 🌿 Kojic Acid – helps inhibit tyrosinase (the enzyme responsible for melanin production). 🍃 Licorice Root – not just soothing, it also helps brighten by slowing down excess pigment and calming inflammation. 📦 Curious? Just comment BRIGHT and the little auto robot thingy will send you a link to Vivatia at 35% off 💛 #BrightSkin #PigmentationHelp #TranexamicAcid #Arbutin #KojicAcid #LicoriceRoot #SkincareEducation #PhotozymeMD
- In France this week, and once again I’m struck by how differently skincare is perceived here. Brands Americans label as “medical grade” are sold right alongside drugstore and department store favorites… Skinceuticals next to Clinique. Bioderma next to Sisley. La Roche Posay and Cetaphil just an aisle over…you get the idea 🩵 In the U.S., we’re sold on the idea that WHERE you buy skincare determines how “serious” it is. Spoiler: it doesn’t. There’s great skincare at every price point (and some not so great at every price point). There’s no regulated definition of medical grade skincare in the U.S. … it’s a marketing term, not a scientific one. Great skincare isn’t about prestige or price point. It’s about ingredients, formulation, and consistency. *By the way, I think Skinceuticals is fantastic. 🩵Penn #skincaremyths #medicalgradeskincare #frenchpharmacy #estheticianapproved #skincareeducation #skinceuticals #clinique #bioderma #skincaresimplified #masteresthetician #skintok
