I won’t lie Idris had no idea who I was but he still stopped for a chat and was an absolute gentleman as well as being a sick DJ. Have to say Fat Boy Slim saying he watches my stuff blew my mind. ![Just spent 4 lovely days driving this beautiful thing around the country. 762 miles covered down through Devon, Dorset, then over to Cardiff before heading back. Took a little getting used to and my pale ginger skin definitely paid the price for that much roof down fun but honestly I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed driving more. I’m so used to modern cars doing everything for me I’d forgotten what driving really felt like. If I’ve even ever felt it properly. Wrestling her around without power steering and all the other bits kept my mind just on driving. The lack of seat belts and wing mirrors added some extra drama and excitement. She may not be the fastest but maybe that’s not the point. Maybe we don’t need to rush from place to place but enjoy the journey itself. I’ve definitely done that. Has to be my favourite car so far. She will be hard to beat. I’m still smiling now. 😊😊😊😊
