- NEW COCKTAIL SPOTS DAY 3 AYCE and BEER for $32 All you can eat fried chicken and beer for $32 bucks! And great cocktails. Sign me up! I randomly found this spot last week..I noticed their art deco Japanese resto and walked in to find the hidden Korean spot. Great menu of food and cocktails were on point. The AYCE is only Sunday to Thursday with a 90 minute seating. Boka bokanyc 📍103 2nd Ave, Manhattan They were on St.Marks for a long time and moved here 2 months back. My favorite cocktail was the Seoul twilight with the lychee flavors. They have a variety of cocktails including soju based cocktails Their fried chicken was insanely good! Crsipy ,sticky and addictive and the L A Galbi was perfect. Go slide that back door open and check out the speak easy style Boka for cocktails and all you can eat fried chicken and beer for $32 bucks which is a really great deal. Let me know if you go. I'm definitely going back. Big 🙏🏻 to my firend Cleo for the assit. therealcle0 #friedchicken #speakeasy #KFC #koreanfriedchicken #boka
- STREET FOOD LITTLE EGYPT Exploring little Egypt brings me to this charcoal grill cart. They are open from 2 pm to 6 am and dishing out grilled meats. 📍Watany Grill 25-78 Steinway St, Astoria, Queens Beef and lamb kebab sandwiches, grilled whole chicken and even lamb chops all fresh from their own butcher counter at the back of the grocery store. You can even get a side of noodle or spinach soup or rice with Egyptian spices. My favorite was the kebab sandwich layered with tomato lettuce tahini sauce and white sauce. It was on a type of bread that you can only find in this neighborhood. This so hit the spot and drooling thinking about it now. It was seasoned well and that combo of tahini and white sauce was perfect. Big thank you to Eslam for serving us at Watany and to my friend Soli for explaining everything to me in the neighborhood. solissecrets Swing by, pull up a chair with the locals and get some grilled meat and take in some Egyptian culture. #astoriaeats #streetfood #kebab #queenseats #eatsunqueens
- OLDEST COAL OVEN Oldest working coal oven in the western hemisphere built in 1890 by Germans and taken over by Sicilains in the 1940s. The neighborhood was very Sicilian at the time. Lucky Charlie luckycharliebk 📍254 Irving Ave, Bushwick , Brooklyn This oven is insane! It's huge! One of the pizza peels is 18 feet 7 inches!! The oven is fired up with coal from Pennsylvania and a sight to see! Those flames can reach 1,000 degrees! The oven runs under the sidewalk from the entrance to the street. The food here is on point! Pizza is among the best in NYC. All their hot dishes are cooked in the coal oven When you go, definitely get their seafood platter. It has shrimp oreganata, clams casino, oysters rockefeller, and octopus. This spot has old school vibes, a neighborhood spot, folks chillin on the sidewalk, and open late. You can get pizza almost until they close. The cocktails are on point. They make dishes with figs from their backyard, like the fig sorbet. They have one of the best pizzaiolos gegorio_dsmiano in town dishing out the pizza, and Chef Lexi, bug.on.a.rug, is killing it with flavors. Rob, their beverage director, is making some great cocktails robdhoffman Nino, the owner, is a pizza legend. brooklynpizzacrew Can't go wrong with this combo of talent. Check out Lucky charlie. They opened in June but feels like they've been here forever. #coaloven #pizza #bestpizza #Bushwick #coalovenpizza #Brooklyn #nyceats #pizzalover #pizzaparty #wheretoeatnyc #pizzalove
