![๐ฌ Itโs been a while so hereโs an updateโฆ
There was a point on this journey when I doubted my back would ever get better.
After my last post I started loosing the feeling in both my feet, the pain became so debilitating I was pretty much bed bound, none of the painkillers given to me making any difference. I couldnโt sleep, walk, sit or stand for too long if at all. It was bad ๐
Surgery was the only option. March 16th off I went and when I tell you I woke up feeling like a new person, rough but the pain was gone! the surgeon said my herniated disc was attaching itself to my spinal cord & nerves explaining why the pain was so bad ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ I lived life like an oap for a while, I took time off here to focus on healing. words canโt explain the feeling of being able to do simple things again pain free. Iโm so grateful.
Life is slowly going back to normal and of course I got on my bike again for the first time in 6months (boyyy i am not fit like I was ๐ฉ) so Iโm back on a mission to build my strength/fitness backโฆ as it so happens wheelies are my kind of cardio! ๐

![UPDATE ON MY BACK: Two slipped discs, one herniated and both putting pressure on my sciatic nerve. ๐ฅฒ
Iโm still waiting on a hospital referral for a treatment plan. (The nhs suck!)
I feel like sometimes life throws these things at you for a reason and Iโm not gonna lie at times ive found it hard to see what good could come out of this.
Iโve avoided posting but I also want to keep it real with you guys because from the outside looking people think my life is rainbows, butterflies and wheelies. ๐ but the reality is Iโve struggled with my mental health for years and this by far has been my hardest challenge yet both physically and mentally.
But this has taught me that we are all just human, things happen in life sometimes that are out of our control but the people around you and mindset you have really is everything, I know Iโm going to come out the other end of this no matter how long it takes! ๐ช๐ผ]()

Iโve got to get to the bottom of whatโs really going on with my back because itโs got to the point itโs affecting my every day life and my mental health.
I havenโt stepped foot in a gym properly since January which is killing me, I havenโt been able to do ANY downhill on my full sus this year and learning anything new on the wheelie bike is an absolute no no.
I have lost my two biggest hobbies! ๐ซ
