✨ The LOQA experience 🫰🏻 Some places just take you by surprise with the wealth of experience they offer and for me, LOQA is certainly one of them in Hyderabad 😁 I walked in expecting a classic cocktail room, but was pleasantly surprised to see that it's so much more than that. 17 years ago, if you had asked me if I would voluntarily go on a 6 kilometer trek in the monsoon through a forest to get drenched under a waterfall, I would have laughed loudly in your face 😜 But 17 years later, here I am - voluntarily, with absolutely ZERO regrets 🤗 Ahhh, the things one does for love and family 🤷🏽‍♀️ My near and dear ones will attest to the fact that I am a person of creature comforts - adventure is not something I sign up for and I ordinarily fear the rains. Happy mumma in food coma face coz the newly opened Cafe Reed cafereed.d150 at District 150 is serving up some amazing goodness all through the day with healthy and indulgent options available to suit different taste buds and I couldn't be happier 😁 Of late, when eating out, I am leaving more towards spaces that offer experiences behind just the food they serve, and Cafe Reed definitely fits the bill perfectly. The menu is global, but with a delightful twist in every dish played to perfection by the chefs 🫰🏽 We started with breakfast - Turkish Eggs (delightfully done with spiced yoghurt, poached eggs and spring greens), Avocado Toast (with sliced avos and with guacamole), Guacamole with Plantain and Sweet Potato Chips, and my absolute favourite - Beats with Beets - a salad with the perfect balance of crunch and glaze with braised beetroot and goat cheese espuma 😋 Oh and don't forget to get your favourite fresh juices with breakfast - they are realllly fresh and so delicious (we tried the Watermelon and also the ABC 🥤) They have wonderful lunch and dinner options too and the best part is that we can rest assured that they are using the best ingredients possible with food made 100% fresh and served with so much love and care (100/10 for the hospitality!) A mumma, grieving the loss of her mumma on her birthday - dressed in her favourite dress in her favourite colour 💔 All day long, the only thought that has been constant in my mind is that my mumma was always the most excited for my birthday - we used to go to the gurudwara in the morning, she used to do paath for me, get a new dress tailored for me months in advance, do embroidery on it, get my bhabhi to bake a cake for me, cook my favourite dishes and so much more.
