It started with a lunch to celebrate lydia x officialnavyprofessional and having fun and a forward planning meeting with middleagedminx , then on to the bio_sculpture_official salon selfridges for a much needed pedi and supper with officialmedik8 to celebrate their new Advanced Peptide Cream. The highlight of the week though was undoubtedly theofficialntas where thismorning won Best Daytime. No matter what the press sometimes say the team at This Morning are the best, so supportive of each other and it’s the most fun place to work. I loved Alison’s speech giving credit to the people behind the scenes that make all of us on camera look good. And just look at Cat who is in utter disbelief even after she has her hands on the award. (I have a full NTA reel up btw). Back home and shoes straight off even before I get into my house. Shout out to Michelle labmuffinbeautyscience for her crib notes as always and the beauty industry has known this was coming for two years do most reputable brands have removed TPO already. Huge kudos to Dermot for even attempting to say Trimethylbenzoylfiphenylphosohineoxide live on air - the molecule in question that reacts with UV light to form the long chain polymers that form gel polish and which might cause problems in rats fed it but is pretty much safe for human painting it on their nails once a month.
What’s concerning is the rise in allergic reactions to gel polish causing dermatitis - have you noticed this? Ironically not caused by TPO but by the methyl acrylates that make up the polymer chains. So I ended the item with some fun alternatives.
