I love all weddings but I especially love small, intimate weddings. i find that couples who choose to have a smaller ceremony often choose a location that's special to them. I took this photo years ago when I was going through some tough times. I don't remember if I was still in medical school at the time or if I had already finished. I think it was more likely the latter. But either way, I was not in a great headspace at that time. I dealt with a lot of self-loathing and self-doubt during what I know tend to call the purgatory years. I went out to do some street photography with thelenslady in Little 5 Points and Old 4th Ward. I remember taking the photo and not dwelling on it and just moving on. But every few years, it pops up in my Google memories and it reminds me an important lesson. A while back lbcrphotography put out a set of negatives to see what folks would come up with. I finally got around to trying it out.
