Well, Priyansh is known for his loving smile, but behind the Instagram scene, he is/was scared of a lot of things. Sensory, texture, new atmosphere, everything doesn’t come with a smile to babies. Here are few things that he was scared of and what have we done to deal with it - . 🛀🏻 𝙎𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣 𝙖 𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙪𝙗 - He would happily stand and take his bath, but the moment we make him sit, he would cry out loud. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙛𝙚𝙖𝙧 - I got his small tub in his play area, put his toys inside, and I jumped in too (not fully, as I couldn’t fit really). Made him comfortable for couple of days before trying our hands in the bathroom. Eventually, we got used to it. . 🦠 𝑻𝒐𝒖𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒅 - The first time we took him to the beach, he hated the texture of sand and totally rejected to even touch. He had such big tears in his eyes, I can’t explain. 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝒘𝒆 𝒅𝒐 - We took him to the beach every weekend (thanks to the weather here currently). We made sure he is fed well, not sleepy or cranky. Me and my husband made him sit on the sand and played with the sand literally like how kids do. We didn’t bother of what others are thinking, while we are playing and our baby is crying. Coz we know what we were doing. . 🧗🏻‍♂️ 𝑺𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒏 𝒂 𝒔𝒍𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒌 - He was scared of falling from the slide and would again cry and reject even sitting on it. 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒅 - I took him to the near by park daily, made him observe little kids going on the slide, distracting him and making him sit on it, until he got used to it. . 𝑻𝒊𝒑𝒔 - In the process of removing fear from the kids, it’s important to - ✅ Stay patient ✅ Don’t care of what others are thinking ✅ Don’t do everything at the same time (it may come out as a shocker for them) ✅ Keep repeating until they are getting used to it ✅ Don’t let anyone call them a coward ✅ Encourage them ✅ It may take a very long time, don’t lose hope . 10 𝓶𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓱𝓼 𝓸𝓵𝓭! . My little munchkin is no more little little you see. He already has 7 teeth and 8th one has just sprouted. He can stand for couple of seconds and we click his picture within those fraction of seconds 🤭 . Here are couple of things that Priyansh is doing at #10months - - Backward crawling - Downward dog yoga pose #mylittleyogi - Can walk with support of our hands and by holding corners - He is a big Alexa fan, especially for animal sounds - Babbles Papapapapapa the entire day. Dubai’s first baby spa and here’s our experience! . Last week we were invited by labellababyspa for Priyansh’s baby spa. Must say it was an absolute delight. . To start with, Priyansh was a little uncomfortable from getting his temperature checked to going inside the water. But the team there made him feel so comfortable, that he was later resistant to come out of the water. Following the water spa, he was provided with a soothing massage by their professional team. Any new food that we offered him, we followed a 4 day rule to check on any allergies. . Currently at 9 months, Priyansh almost eats family food with NO salt, NO sugar and minimum spices. He has recently started BLW from 8.5 months. . We never offered celerac, biscuits or any outside preservative food to him. He has only been on homemade food so far. .
