Every day feels like a new headline with male v10l3nc3 against women. I’m exhausted from witnessing the same tragic stories repeatedly. When will it end? History keep repeating. I wrote Not what he seems in response to my experience to betrayal, abyouz, and misogyny. 13 years ago I unknowingly lived with and dated a man on the run from Interpol. He had a fake name and passport. I only found out who he really was from the newspapers after he was caught. He had been on the run, living a life of luxury for 16 years. Feminine rage is something that has really helped me process this slice of my life and numerous other experiences. I find it empowering and cathartic. The heart doesn’t need to think to beat. It just does. If we connect our minds to our hearts we can live more calmly and peacefully. simplyrawgeous festival was magical ✨ Thank you to pete_simplyrawgeous & his wife Hannah for having me on stage to perform on Friday. It was so great to be part of a wonderful lineup of vegan artists- officialmackab and mobiusloopmusic It was such fun to enjoy an intimate yet super charged energetic show. This festival has opened my eyes to raw vegan food with Pete, the organiser being raw vegan for 17years! enzyme.333 did a great eye opening demo with delicious raw waffles and berry compote. The festival was complete with yoga, sound healing, a sauna, ice bath, several demos & talks and even massage. For the fresh faces who have recently followed me, I’m Stella and at 38 have decided to express myself through my passion project which is singing songwriting. You are listening to “A siren’s call” which is an immersive oceanic soundscape with a touch of mythical fantasy. It came out a few days ago, so please do add it to your playlists and stream it on your fav musical platforms. Listen to it with phone sideways or use earbuds for an immersive 8D experience. Since I was a very young child, I always wrote poems and stories. Unfortunately in my teenage years I didn’t take the artistic route and studied biology and chemistry instead, for practical and logical purposes. I was born and grew up on a little island called Malta. Studying took over those years of my life with little to no play time, no friends and poor mental health. In my late teens/ early 20s I started feeling better and started modelling to improve my confidence, self esteem and mental health. It was dancing which then opened up a whole new world for me, personally and mentally- and led to me moving to London. From there I got published on several mags & newspapers, and started acting in films & series. It was during this time I remembered how much I loved writing poems and songs. And I asked myself, what happened to that little girl who loved creating and writing? My first self written and released song was Electrifying, an electro euro pop style song. As I found myself as a person, I realised how much I vibe better with non mainstream music like folk pop, mixed alternative genres and experimental sounds. I then released Summer moonlight and To the animals. I joined a musical academy in Birmingham last year and my vocal coach has helped me develop my voice so much. I also listen to new and old music all the time. I am now at a point where I feel I have found my own style and creating much more than ever. I have several exciting projects written in my notebook (I’m very old fashioned- I love pen & paper), which I can’t wait to release. I went to Donna Nook to try and spot the seal colony and have them grace my images for “A siren’s call”. I never saw any seals .. but I was elated and surprised to find never ending miles of wild samphire marshland! I have never seen so much samphire in my life. It’s too much of a coincidence to be a random thing. “A siren’s call” starts with “take me where the samphire grows, in the opening of the river by the sea”. I am overjoyed that mother goddess, the universal spirit and the angels drew me there. The joy you see in the pictures / videos is real. There are no deliberate poses. Everyone knew him as Andrew Lamb, the passport and driving license said so. He even had a d3ath certificate document of the father of the person he stole the identity from! Christopher Guest More was a very clever and dangerous person and I’m lucky to be alive today. This song and true story is the extreme definition of someone who is not what they seem to be. It took me several hours to design the finished artwork, a 2.5 hr drive and a 90 mins hike to get the right image in the perfect magical location.
