Two days in Paris with sezane, seeing the city through the eyes of the loveliest Parisian lady in fashion morganesezalory was something special. From delicious lunches and dinners (what a treat to discover chefjais divellecparis ojii.perronet) to a guided visit at the Rodin Museum, every moment was a reminder of why Paris will always remain my favourite city - the one where I’ve spent so much of my life. A first look at Sézane’s fall pieces at Morgane’s apartment made it all the more inspiring. 2025-09-18 11:58:45 Two days in Paris .. 6,420 +158% 128 +88%
Giorgio Armani didn’t just design clothes, he redefined elegance. Effortless, empowering, and forever timeless.
One of my most unforgettable (and fabulous!) moments was being part of the ‘Frames of Life’ campaign. It was the early stirrings of my ‘cooking’ days, and somehow I found myself framed, quite literally, in Giorgio’s world of refined beauty. What an honour, what a memory. 2025-09-05 15:53:45 Giorgio Arman.. 0 -100% 35 -48%

A few last days well spent. A visit to lacasadigraziella (they also have the prettiest store of antique linens and shawls like the one I am wearing slide 10).
A little shout-out to a family favorite: the walnut and sage pasta from my cookbook ‘Old World Italian’. We haven’t had it for a while and it was so delicious. And here’s a tip for my new favorite salad: sauté a few extra walnuts and sage leaves, and use the leftover sauce to dress a rucola salad. 2025-08-17 20:35:23 A few last days.. 5,422 +118% 54 -21%
This is THE summer dessert. La soupe de pêches, so refreshing and delicious. Pure childhood nostalgia - my aunt made this every summer in the south of France. I added a slide on how to peel the peaches once blanched, this is my go-to ‘soothing’ activity, I promise you will feel instantly relaxed. (Also, slide 4 is my secret for good digestion and a flat tummy!)

Here’s the recipe:

Soupe de pêches blanches (white peach ‘soup’) (serves 6-8)
10 white peaches
1 organic lemon – you will need the zest (chopped into small specks) and the juice
300 g granulated sugar
200 ml white wine
A small bunch of mint leaves
1 cinnamon stick
1 vanilla pod – slit lengthwise
Peel the skin off the lemon and slice them into tiny specks.
Plunge the peaches in boiling water for 10 seconds. Peel and cut them in half.
In a large saucepan, combine the wine, sugar, cinnamon stick, vanilla pod (slit & vanilla beans scraped off), lemon juice and lemon zest. Bring to a boil and add the halved peaches for 3 minutes.
Set aside to cool. Sprinkle with mint leaves, cover and refrigerate 3 hours minimum before serving. 2025-08-14 19:28:18 This is T.. 5,751 +131% 62 -9%

I’ve flicked on my ‘zenitude’ switch, and even with a full house, I’m swaying through the kitchen like it’s my own little jazz club. Improvising meals with whatever’s on hand, and loving it.
Lemon rinds stuffed with sage slipped under chicken skin for the juiciest roast, moules marinières just because, and roasted cime di rapa (brocoli rabe) tossed with cannellini beans, dressed in a lemony yogurt sauce whizzed with chives, garlic, and ginger. Hong Kong is always a good idea—especially when it’s lychee season! This short trip was all about back-to-back meetings and an Olympic-level list of chores, I still carved out time for what matters most: family, lifelong friends, and my favorite Chinese snacks and dishes (yes, I ate like a champ). Add in juicy lychees as the cherry on top, and you’ve got a trip that was equal parts productive and delicious.

I spent 72 hours in Rome celebrating the 10th anniversary of the wonderful duo chezdede. The world they’ve created is a rare blend of authenticity, style, and heart—so aligned with what I value. We shared incredible Roman meals, met kind, creative souls, danced under the moonlight, and had spaghetti at midnight. And what a treat to have stayed at the beautiful orientexpresslaminerva. It felt effortlessly cinematic, timeless, with breathtaking views. Thank you for this unforgettable Roman getaway and congratulations to the amazing dariareina andrea_ferolla ❤️

It’s amazing what a long weekend can hold. We kicked things off with 24 hours in Lisbon, thank you all for the incredible suggestions! It wasn’t easy to choose, but we went with prado_restaurante and gambrinus_restaurante_lisboa , and it was a total hit (the lobster pie was so delicious). Then on to Madeira, where we were invited to the iconic belmondreidspalace in Funchal to celebrate the opening of Brisa do Mar, a new restaurant putting a fresh spotlight on traditional Portuguese cuisine. From bold local flavors to sunset toasts, it was all about good food, great company, and unforgettable views. A few favorite moments right here.

Bay of Naples Workshop, 2026

Yesterday morning, as I was boarding a train back to Torino from Naples, I felt an intense longing to stay a little longer, even just one more day. I had arrived on Tuesday and we met our workshop guests for the first time that night for drinks on the terrace of the Excelsior in Naples. What followed, at lightning speed it seems, was an explosion of fun and flavours, and most importantly, wonderful people. Both our lovely guests and the locals who helped make this experience unforgettable.

We had only announced three workshops for next year and we were wondering what to add, Italy for sure, but where?

After these last few days there is no question, we’re going South, again. We’ll start by exploring Naples, then head to the Sorrento peninsula. We’ll go to markets, cook and explore the surrounding villages and beaches.

You could call our workshops a much loved and tested recipe that we’ve been working with for over a decade and it turns out they are moveable feasts. Settings and ingredients are very important but the people make the experience and we’ve been incredibly lucky with our guests since we started. Usually our groups have around a quarter or more of returning guests.
There is just something magical in waking up in a beautiful place, share lunches and dinners and culinary adventures, then waking up the next day and doing it all over again.

I hope you can join us next year,

Bay of Naples workshop, June 2nd - 6th, 2026

How can I not feel emotional on Mother’s Day? Being a mother is truly the greatest gift of my life.

I want to share a bit of my journey with you, perhaps I haven’t spoken much about it. But my childhood wasn’t always easy, and I faced many challenges. However, I learned to make the best of it. My food memories have become some of the most meaningful parts of my life. But sharing a meal became our way of showing love and appreciation. Cooking and gathering around the table have shaped my world and my feelings forever.

Sometimes, I think it all feels like a lucky coincidence, or perhaps it was a gift from destiny. Meeting oddthor felt destined for me, as if our lives were meant to connect. From that moment, our family began to grow—much larger than I had ever imagined. The abundance of love has surpassed all my expectations. Life gave me happiness. To all my children: Gunnhildur, Thorir, Mia, Hudson, Louise, Gaïa, Audrey, Lucian, you are all my world. You mean everything to me. Thank you for being the stars of my life. Thank you for being the gentlest and kindest souls. Thank you for loving each other. I feel like the luckiest mother in the world. ❤️ #family 2025-05-12 00:21:26 How can I no.. 10,646 +328% 151 +122%

I came across these old treasures, from the days when Hipstamatic filters made everything feel like a memory in the making. You, my darling Gaïa, were the springtime itself—arriving with every blooming flower, every ray of April sun. Fourteen years later, and I still marvel at you—your paintings, your stories, your sparkling humour. You are grace and talent wrapped in joy, and I’m endlessly proud. Stay exactly as you are, my love. Joyeux anniversaire Gaïa. Mommy & daddy love you so so so much ❤️🪷❤️🪷❤️🪷 #sweet14 2025-04-15 02:49:07 .. 0 -100% 68 +0%
It’s always great to see a dream come true and that’s exactly what happened this week in Scotland. About a year ago we decided to host a workshop in the Scottish Highlands, at a magical place we had recently discovered, Boath House.
To make it work we need a great place, a terrific group of people. Like minded, passionate collaborators and sometimes, a touch of luck. It’s safe to say that we’ve had all of the above in abundance over the past few days.

We are dying to return and we have decided to come back in Summer, when Scotland is in bloom, when mushrooms can be foraged ... when we can, with some bravery, swim in the sea.

Our dates for next year are:

Scottish Highlands Workshop - the Summer version
July 21st - 25th, 2026

For more information about this and other upcoming workshops please send us a mail at mangerworkshop@gmail.com
or click on the link in bio for the full lineup ahead.

We had the luck of the devil with the weather, locals shook their heads in disbelief and delight. Boath House is a wonderful Georgian mansion and the place is fortunate enough to be now headed by Chris Lewis, one of the nicest people we’ve met and UK’s foremost forager, and his team. The Chef’s, Iain chefiainnicholson and Vivien oui.vichef cook seriously delicious food and he’s a wizard with fire. Every bite this week was better than the last. They are simply wonderful people.
We had lessons with the incredible tartan historian tartan_historian, whisky tastings, garden tours and foraging. Some of us made cheese kristenallancheese while others drove to Isle of Skye for a hike, whisky and oysters. Mostly we just enjoyed good food at long tables, sometimes we dressed up, sometimes we dressed down but the mood was always soaring. There’s something about these workshops, spending time, sharing our lives and discovering together, that’s hard to explain. Connecting with other people, in a new place may be the greatest recipe of all.
