How you move matters 👏🏽👏🏽

When it comes to lifting weight, do it well, or don’t do it at all.

I am a huge advocate for strength training, however it is too easy to injure yourself by not moving well.

Please lift weights, but please learn how to lift them properly, safely, effectively, the first time. Don’t wait until you’re injured to start taking it seriously.

If you can afford it, hire a certified coach to teach proper form and how to structure a workout for your goals.

If you can’t, ask a coach or educated gym rat at your gym to give you a brief intro to every machine. They are a great tool to start your strength training journey.

Strength training is the key to healthy aging so we must do it as long as we can.

#1 question I get asked

“What do you eat?”

I don’t cut out anything 100% but I do prioritize organic local whole foods when I can. 

I’d love to be a meal prep girl but I crave variety, flavor and spontaneously checking out a new restaurant. 

I eat till I’m full and do my best prioritizing protein and veggies on every plate. Love a good side salad at every meal. 

If I snack it’s a boiled egg, oat & seeds ball, fruit, and occasionally the banana bread or croissant. 

I try to drink lots of water, stay away from fried foods besides the occasional table fry, and don’t touch processed foods you’d find at a deli / gas station. 

My motto?
Food is fuel… for the soul 
I love having an 80/20 diet most of the time, dialing it up to 90/10 a week before a photoshoot. 

Make it healthy and nourishing but also super tasty and satisfying 🤙🏽

Hit 130g of protein with me! 

Using my sidekick perfectamino to help build lean muscle, speeds recovery and boosts performance.

I eat intuitively throughout the day and focus on ingesting natural whole foods and lots of water.

What I eat looks different every day, so I supplement with PA tablets and powder as needed to hit around 30g of protein in each meal or 130g total. 

I also love that a serving of PA is only 1 calorie, so I can feel good building protein without the caloric load. I recommend this for my clients who are fasting or cutting body fat. 

Food for thought:
My training split consists of 3-4 strength training sessions, 1-2 cardio sessions, and a whole lot of zone 2 biking throughout the city to my clients all day. Due to my high aerobic output I eat a little more carbs than if I didn’t bike.

A big part of choosing this apartment was having a gym I can train my parents out of when they come to visit. 

The biggest luxury is time and I don’t want to have any less with my parents. Doing what I can for them will only serve me in the long run so weekly training has begun!
